carsales.com.au:
It’s over the top.
It’s over the edge.
And now it’s over here.
It’s the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
Born and built in the USA but converted to
right-hand drive by HSV in Melbourne and now
on sale through its national dealer network
and one can be yours for just 159,990 bucks.
I’m not kidding.
Okay so that price has instantly drawn a line
through the ZL1 for all but the few hundred
hardcore fans HSV is confident will put their
money down on this monster.
But considering the bang for buck maybe their
buying decision isn’t driven by passion
alone.
No other passenger vehicle on sale in Australia
today can match the ZL1’s combination of
price and performance.
The LT4 V8 smashes out nearly 500 kilowatts
and 900 newton metres.
That’s outstanding.
Okay it’s a push rod engine but it’s no
antique.
Variable valve timing and direct injection
ensure that.
There’s no less than 100 heat exchanges
in there keeping everything cool.
Speaking of cool, it was actually frigidly
cold and miserably wet for most of our ZL1
road drive.
Earlier in the week we’d had the chance
to feel the ZL1’s full force at Sandown
motor raceway and it was mega.
Driving the rear-wheel’s virus six speed
manual or ten speed auto, no surprise the
ZL1 hooks up and bangs out four second zero
to 100 times with the aid of launch control
if you want it.
Even in the wet there’s no doubting the
full force of the ZL1’s power train.
Holy crap this thing is fast.
The ZL1 is no one trick pony though.
It’s got magnetic ride control dampers which
means it can go from liveable in tour up to
absolutely kidney bruising in track.
And that chassis along with some big Brembo
brakes makes the ZL1 a really enjoyable car
to steer along a twisting section of road.
But don’t be mistaken.
Yes, this is a two-door coupe but it’s not
small and light.
It’s nearly four point eight metres long
and weighs in at 1800 kilos.
It does require some care and effort, especially
in the rain.
So you might be wondering about the quality
of HSV’s conversion drop.
Well it’s mostly top notch.
The flip mirrors look a bit weird and sticking
your elbow in the cup holders is odd but they
are things I reckon you could live with.
There’s a couple more downers that are really
more significant.
For instance, the back seat is a laughable
joke.
Treat is as extra boot space which is handy
because the boot is small and accessed via
a tiny boot lid is a challenge.
Visibility out of this thing in any direction
but forward is limited.
Thankfully there’s a reversing camera, rear
cross traffic alert, and blind spot monitoring
to help out.
But one crucial driver assist system that’s
missing is autonomous emergency braking.
The yanks don’t get it and nor do we.
And then there’s that Zee or Zed question.
Well we’re in Australia so that’s why
I’ve been saying Zed L1 but it’s your
money so it’s your choice.
Well what to make of this latest yank that’s
hit our shores.
Well no doubt it’s got its deficiencies
but it’s also got fantastic performance
and that’s the essence for something that
sits in the HSV showroom.
Surely it should be layout.
It should be proud.
And in this case you can add pretty bloody
epic too.

(racecar engine)
- [Narrator] How do you make
a 650 horsepower Camaro even better?
Think like a track day weekend warrior,
which is exactly what Chevy did.
Stick your tires, stiffer
shocks, and a big old wing.
In fairness, the ZL1 1LE's arrow kit
is much more than just a wing.
There's a stiff splitter,
shin-splintering dive planes,
and the previously
mentioned carbon fiber wing,
that taken together help
create 300 pounds of downforce
at 155 miles per hour.
Then you have the
specially developed tires
from Goodyear that provide
tremendous amounts of grip
to go along with all that downforce.
Finally, the shocks are
spool valve dampers,
the same technology
you'll find on super cars,
like the 4GT, hyper cars,
like the upcoming AMG Project One,
and honest to goodness F1 cars.
But how does it all add up on the track?
(racecar engine)
- Now this car stops.
(racecar engine)
Brutally strong power
and I like it.
(racecar engine)
I got to long neck so visibility
out of the Camaro's just fine by me.
(racecar engine)
Your old manual shifter.
(racecar engine)
Please work.
Gah look at this thing stop!
(racecar engine)
Camaro generates a lot of g's.
(racecar engine)
Don't put me in the weeds.
(racecar engine)
You know what, a pleasure to drive,
(racecar engine)
a beast of a car.
I love pony cars and that right there
is the ultimate, ultimate
pony car right now.
Yeah, I have my little knits
to pick here and there,
but wow, the power, this
thing just handles so well.
It was very much at home on the racetrack.
I love the huge power.
It's not a lightweight car,
but it handles like one.
The overall grip was tremendous.
It was interesting how this car
at a similar speed
would stick to the road
over the jump in turn one,
and that's the benefit of that giant wing,
and we can see these huge dive planes
on the front of the Camaro.
I'm going to say it was
not perfectly balanced
but when we put it in the
context of what it is:
a front engine, rear drive
car with 650 horsepower,
the traction was incredible.
It put down power extremely well.
Tremendous amount of
braking grip was available.
Very, very pleasing and
satisfying how late I could brake,
in what is a relatively heavy car.
Tremendous power going up the hills.
The bottom line is here,
Chevrolet has built the ultimate pony car.
- [Narrator] Meet the
super car killing Camaro.
The ZL1 1LE's time of 134.30
is not just quick for a Camaro,
it's quick for a super car.
That time is better than any McLaren
we've ever ran around Laguna Seca,
save for the million dollar P1.
It's quicker than any
Nissan GTR, full stop.
Just five short years ago,
that time would have been good enough
to set the production car lab record.
Again, we're talkin' about a Camaro.
Why fifth place then?
Some judges felt that the stiff,
and we're talkin' crazy super stiff,
rear suspension,
made the ZL1 1LE more
of a track day novelty
than an actual driver's car.
Also, the four cars ahead
of it are just that good.

Edmunds:
[MUSIC PLAYING]
CARLOS LAGO: That's the
new Chevy Camaro ZL1,
and in this video we're going to
give you an overview about what
makes it special.
And the quick version is, it's
more than the 650 horsepower
underneath that hood.
You might be surprised to
hear that the coolest parts
about the Camaro
ZL1 are actually
the stuff you can't see.
The exterior doesn't look
dramatically different
than the standard
Camaro SS or RS models.
You can tell the
ZL1 is different
because it has big exhaust pipes
and a ZL1 badge at the back.
But over on the side, as
we get to the profile,
it retains the shape that we
know to love the Camaros by.
The wheels are bigger, they're
20 inches front and rear,
but they're a staggered
fitment, so the front tires
are a little bit
smaller than the rear.
And that gives it a
nice purposeful look.
But it's the stuff
underneath here
that really makes the car
drive as good as it does.
You have magnetic
fluid-filled dampers
that react super quick, more
so than your traditional motor
controlled dampers when you're
making adjustments on the fly.
You have an electronically
controlled limited slip
differential that continually
biases power left or right,
controls it with a
granularity you can't achieve
with a simple mechanical unit.
Up at the front you
see the big differences
that come with the ZL1.
Up on the hood here, of course,
is the badging and the carbon
fiber dome of the hood.
And there's actually
a heat extractor right
through the bottom there.
You can fit your
hand in, we'll show
you the vents in just a second.
But when we were
talking about making
650 horsepower, what we
really had to pay attention to
is cooling.
This is the same engine that's
in the Chevy Corvette Z06.
And in here, you can
tell the front fascia
is dramatically different,
and it's much larger.
And there's all these
gigantic air openings.
And that's because
this needs a lot of air
to go through it
to keep it cool.
You have heat
exchangers here, here,
here, here, there's
inner coolers
underneath the supercharger,
there's another heat exchanger
lying flat.
And all of this is designed
to get as much airflow
through the front of
the vehicle as possible.
I mean even the Chevy Badge,
you can stick your finger right
through it.
These gaping holes
right here, I mean,
you can imagine what happens if
a small animal flies in there.
It's all made in the name of
getting air through this engine
to keep it cool
under heavy use when
you're making all that power.
Now, let's take a
look at that engine.
Feast your eyes on the glory
of a supercharged 6.2 liter
V8 that makes 650 horsepower,
and 650 pound feet of torque.
This is, frankly, a
hell of an engine.
It doesn't rev that
high, 6,500 RPM.
Actually that's pretty
decent for a pushrod V8,
but really the story is
the breadth of that power.
But also consider it's
a fairly compact engine.
And it can be compact because
that supercharger, this guy
right here, isn't as big as the
last generation supercharged V8
that the previous ZL1 used and
the previous Corvette used.
Now and also the nature
of a pushrod motor
is, because it doesn't
have two overhead cams,
there's not a lot of valvetrain
up here, so it can be short.
And that can help
with visibility.
But as you'll see when
we hop inside this car,
the visibility isn't
really quite there.
And we showed you
the heat extractors
that come through here.
They're functional, you can
stick your hand right up
in there.
And the goal of that is to
promote air flow out of here
to keep pulling air through
the front end of the vehicle
to cool it down.
Let's take a look inside.
Well the first
thing you gotta do
when you slip into the interior
of a Camaro ZL1 is fire it up.
So that's how you
set things off right.
Now, couple of things
you have to accept
with the interior
of the Chevy Camaro,
especially this generation.
There is no interior storage.
You have a couple of pockets
on the left and right.
There's some space
in the armrest.
But there's basically
nothing for anything
bigger than a phone.
Even my phone has difficulty
fitting in the center armrest.
Also, rear visibility
comes up short.
It's like looking out
of a cardboard box.
But at least if you
don't want to sit low
you can raise the height up.
And that certainly helps your
view over the hood and just
at a point, there you go.
If you're concerned about
looking forward over the hood,
you can always do that.
OK now we're back
to normal height.
ZL1 specific changes
are few, but are nice.
These seats are Recaros,
they're nice buckets
with good amounts
of lateral support
but they don't
feel uncomfortable.
The material they're
wrapped with,
and especially the stuff
on the steering wheel too,
is this microfiber
suede-like substance.
It's also on the dash.
It looks and feels nice.
This is, of course,
the 10 speed automatic.
And we'll talk about how that
works once we take it out
for a drive.
For now though, it
just looks and works
like a normal
automatic transmission.
Behind it, these
controls here are
what get us into sort of the
electronic sophistication
you'll find in the ZL1.
You have four
different drive modes,
there's tube or track, sport,
and snow and ice modes.
Now those adjust a
variety of settings,
but within those settings
are further adjustments.
For example, when you go
into track like we are now,
you can double tap the
stability control button
and access the performance
traction management function.
Now this is a multi-configurable
stability control setting
that has one, two, three,
four, five different levels
of adjustment.
And you can also turn
everything completely off.
We'll talk about launch
control, too, and a line lock.
This has both those tools which
are great for drag racers.
And it speaks to the
legacy level of intent
that Chevy knows
Camaro owners are
going to use these cars for.
The ZL1 doesn't do any
one thing particularly.
It's not focused on
just doing one job,
it's focused on being
able to do everything.
It wants to ride
comfortably on your commute.
It wants to be able to tackle
a mountain road or a racetrack.
And it wants to
be able to get you
through a night
at the dragstrip.
And all that stuff
comes together nicely
in this package.
Now this display, as we get back
into more traditional Camaro
grievances, this
display looks funky.
It looks like it's tilted in.
Although when you start
using it, you realize
it's super intuitive.
It also supports Apple
CarPlay and Android Auto,
and that's really nice.
In front of you, you
have two analog gauges
and in the center is
a digital display.
That's multi-configurable
and shows
you a lot of really
nice information.
And above that is
a head up display.
As we dive into the
dash, we'll explain
how some of the drag racing
focused technology works.
I'll put the car in
its track setting,
and then I'll turn the
advance stability control
system to sport, for example.
And what you can
do here is you can
define the amount of traction
the surface that you're
driving on has.
So if you're in sport
one or sport two,
it assumes you're
on a street surface.
But if you go up
to race, it assumes
you're on a drag strip that
has a prepared surface, that
has the traction of
a prepared surface.
So it'll actually account
for all that stuff.
When you go into
the launch control,
you can set custom parameters.
There's an automatic
function, but you can also
set manually your target
RPM, your slip target--
and that slip target is
how much the rear tires
rotate versus how fast you go.
Tires like to spin a little bit
faster than you would think.
They like to have a
little bit of slip
to get the best
launch out of them.
And you can actually define
the percentage of slip
that you want the
rear tires to have.
Which is nuts.
And then beneath that
you have a line lock.
And now what a line lock does,
is it holds the front brakes
but allows the rear tires
to spin freely, which
makes a burn out a lot easier.
I'm in the school of thought
that if you have 650 pound
feet, a burnout's
pretty easy to do,
but it's nice that
the feature's there.
And this is a level
of granularity
for a drag racing that I
haven't seen in a production car
outside of the Dodge Demon.
And it's really cool, because
this car, again, is just
sort of an all-arounder.
Now up next we'll show
you what that means
when we drive it on the street.
Driving on the congested
and Toyota Prius
filled streets of LA may
not be the most exciting way
to experience the Camaro
ZL1, but it does give us
the opportunity to illustrate
just how nice this car is
to drive in general.
Sure the ride's firm, sure
you get some road noise,
but it's nothing that would
make this car difficult to live
with.
This 10 speed automatic
transmission, you might think,
wow that's a lot of gears.
I'm going to constantly see
the tack bouncing around
as it shifts.
But you don't.
You barely notice when
the shifts happen.
And the way they've
tuned this transmission
so it can skip gears
when you step on it
makes for a really
nice experience.
What's funny is
when you really see
a gap, when you nail that gas
it's almost as if the car has
night terrors.
Because suddenly it starts
growling out of nowhere
and making all these
noises and screaming.
And then it gets
really silent again.
It gets really quiet.
It just seems to get more
aggressive the more you drive
it in an aggressive manner.
But of course LA
traffic is the worst.
So we're going to go to a
place where we can explore
the abilities of this car.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
There's just so much power.
The performance of this
vehicle is just incredible.
But it's the tractability
that makes it so dominating.
It just feels so good,
feels so much fun.
This is a large, heavy car,
with pretty poor visibility.
But it just comes into its
own in this environment.
It's so much fun.
Modulating the power and
controlling the Camaro,
got to love that sound.
Get a little sideways.
So even though the
stability control is on,
it still gives you
a bit of freedom
with how much
sideways you get when
you dig into that throttle.
And there's so much
power on tap here.
We have 650 horsepower.
I'm getting a
little bit too close
to the limits of the
stability control system.
I'm feeling it grab
me a little bit more.
But what that's doing
is it's telling me
I'm applying too much throttle.
You can use this system
like a driver's tool.
You can lean on it and
use it the wrong way,
and have it try to fix
your sloppy mistakes.
But you can also
pay attention to it,
pay attention to when
it's cutting the power
and how much power
it's giving you,
and you can dial back
your choice accordingly.
Now what's working
in conjunction
there is the stability control
and electronically controlled
limited slip differential.
Which is biasing power
as it deems appropriate,
based on whatever the vehicle
sensors are telling it.
That's really nice.
And we haven't even talked
about the brakes yet.
These brakes provide
very good stopping power
and have a nice long travel.
So you can dig in to it
without using too much force,
and get the right amount
braking force that you want.
I like this car a lot.
Listen to that.
[ENGINE REVVING]
And that's the
amazing Camaro ZL1.

Carfluent:
All right now I know you've been excited all week to check out this car what is it today
We're reviewing the 20/20 Camaro zl1. Yeah, maybe hey, let's do the interior versus everybody loves to check out the interior
I'm gonna grab the camera. Let's check it out. All right, sounds good
Alright now, let me check out the inside of this zl1 Camaro it is beat. Oh, yes
What can I say when we get these beautiful Recaro?
Seats with the sway in the center and the leather on the side. Yeah. Keep the wrists itchy Wow
Can't get any better than that. Yeah, let's get a close-up here of the Raquel Recaro. They've got it right here
it's about where your shoulder blades right underneath the headrest they call these seats jet black with red stitching and the red stitching just is
Everywhere, it goes right down the side
It's right here under the in the suede area right back your back
But don't forget we get to see l1. Right and your C's right here. Yeah check that out
What beautiful seats they've got the they wrap around your thighs here right around your sides, you know
I got to tell you they did a very great job with the interior of this car, you know
you're in a sports car, you know you have
650 horsepower just the way that this car is
I mean that seat hug you this thing I will everything is so sporty about this car. Let's start with the door there
I'm gonna come around actually gonna come around the side so that we can open up that door and get a better look
Alrighty, then a that sounds good. All right all day. So here you are you're in the driver's seat
Let's check out the door and the suede look at that
So as we get right here right away, you see this way all through this
Door panel we get that red leather stitching as you can see right here on the door panel
We geta like blueish and green lighting you can switch that to different colors
But on this thing, we have a light blue and B lighting right now
We have also the memories so we have 1 & 2. So yeah, let's check that. I may be a little bit closer here
So you've got the suede that goes right around the top part of the door here and it's got the red
Stitching you also have suede here where your elbow rest goes
And here's the ambient lighting that not only was talking about it comes up and curves around
And you get your seat controls our seat controls right there
Like I said, we have the memory seat, but also right down here. We have the trunk pop for a click of a button
Yeah, pop the trunk very small map holder there for the door. But I mean that's what's expected of sports cars
You're here. We have the Bose audio on this
Great sound system so that song screening here. Yeah, you want to sound good while you're cruising. Oh, yeah. Yes, you do it. Whoa
Honestly, you know I rather hear the music of this car
There you go. Hey while I'm over on this side. Let's check out these foot pedals. So this foot pedals are very nice
I love the you know how they look at it
I got a stainless steel stripe pattern there with yet rubber grips on it now
This one is an automatic but the standard actually comes in a six-speed manual
So it's a switch over to the autumn
The automatic is a 10 speed and it's about 1,600 dollars more to switch over to the automatic
I'd rather have a manual personally
So if it depends what preference you have, so it's not much of a different
You know
You want a manual you switch it not that much of a cuff. But right here we get the nice - maro logo, right?
Nice you can see it right off the back I love the red white and blue right in the middle. That's right
Nice during the night when you have your car, you know, this is this up right here
So you get a better look of your Camaro. All right. Let me come around to the other side here. Alright?
Alright, so as we come over here to the passenger seat
It's the exact same layout basically except for the seat control switches there
But you got the stainless steel door handles the power locks there. You've got your window controls here the Bose speakers down here
Camaro emblem that goes right along the side here. So let's jump in here
And that's you jumping here Keith right off the back. You see these big air vents that look like jet
Yeah, check those out. I mean it looks like you're in a fighter jet
Yeah, that's what I meant to say right there. I mean just look at these and one thing
I mean you can change your air climate right here just by switching these knob right here. Yep on both sides
You also have both seats passenger and driver side are heated and cooled seats
So that's nice
Also, we get the heated steering wheel, but just since we're at the steering wheel as you can see we get this nice red leather
Stitching right here, but we also have the sway on the steering wheel. Yeah, very nice. So it grips real nice
It may be hard to clean though. So I'm not sure if I like that or not
I was gonna mention that when it comes to sway it's nice to have but it gets dirty pretty quick
Let me do it a little closer. Okay, take care of it
So it does have the flat-bottom steering it all that bunch is really sporty. It's got the nice ten in two grips
Yeah, I like the looks of the suede
I'm not sure about it, you know three years from now when you're sweating because you're going almost 200 miles an hour
But right here, you know you get the CEO one right here just to remind you
What type of Camaro you have we have these nice little shifter, you know
I wish that would've been
Probably I mean a metal stainless steel aluminum metal or something would have been kind of flash
You're looking would it look very nice. Wouldn't it cost some that much more right here in the center
Console we get you know, the like we get like another type of an allure right here, you know
Yeah, you've got your normal rpm gauge miles per hour
No, you know not very fancy, but still found this this 650 horsepower zl1
2020 Camaro will hit about a hundred and ninety eight miles an hour
And three point five
Seats here. If you're going, you know, say you're hitting about 200 in this car and you can't look down
This one gives you the nice head this place right now. You're speed up here
Yes as the heads-up display right there on the windshield because I'll tell you one thing
I'm going to if I was going 200 this thing I wouldn't want to be looking down
So I rather be looking at this best roof then down here. That's already Keith
So I'll let you hand me the camera and let you show them the rest of this. Alright
Hey why you're right there show us where the start/stop button is
So the start button is right here
If you seem like that Corvette, it has the same look as a Corvette start button right here. So looks pretty nice. That's nice already
camera, so I got to tell you I just got here in the passenger seat here and I'm about 5 foot 10 and I feel
Like I have a ton of space. I mean my legs are fully stretched out. It's super comfortable
Of course, if you're in the backseat, which really, I don't know why they even put a back seat right there
There's no much like my seat is all the way up there. So let me get closer look at the back
I don't know if you guys can see that but the
Passenger see is touching the rear
Feet are fully stretch. That's nice, but it's got the nice 8 inch digital display
You've got your home button your volume buttons. You got all that. You've got the awesome
Ventilation system here that with the EZ touch of the knob you cool it you turn it hotter. I mean, that's awesome
You've got your controls right here your heated and cooling seats here when the engines on you actually have your temperature displayed, right?
There you come across you have your normal a/c if you want it on your feet or on your chest?
You got your power. You got your sink. This has a 4G wireless system. You've got on your passenger side
You've got your controls right here. This is a claw
I don't know you can tell but this is like a gloss finish on the knobs here
Look at the suede that just continues from the seats from the steering wheel
It just keeps going across the dashboard all the way around. I mean, that's it's awesome
It's also got the stitching right here. The zl1 logo would have been awesome right here
I was really I wish they would have done that right there. That would look very nice
You've got the No Heating and Cooling Vince right there. Nothing big there the
Club box is a little bit small, but that's okay. We're in this for the sportiness
You can see how much it hole just got your owner's manual and all that stuff in there
So I chose the basic stuff the Uni in there
So not too much to worry about it's got some pretty cool suede panels right here right on the side
Yeah, it's not plastic like a lot of cars. Are they got a little bit of detail that comes across there?
That's pretty neat get your emergency brake or I'm sorry your hazard light right there and then check out the shifter
I mean, this is nice there. That thing is nice
So you got the chrome that comes around the top but look at that
You got the zl1 right there on the top with the red stripe. Yep, and that is cool. I mean, this is a nice
2020 and right back here. We get the mold so you can switch your
Mold you got your mode up and down here. You've got your emergency parking right there. Alright, I'll leave you come right here
Look at this. We've got the you got the 12 volt charger right here. I don't really like these anymore
I don't know why they keep putting them in cars
I wish they would put the USB ports right here because when you flip up the top right here
There's a button to flip up your armrest. So you click the button. This is kind of a plastic
I'm surprised they didn't go with the suede here on the top
But you flip up the armrest and you've got really hard to get to you can't even get the camera Baker
But you got two USB ports in the back here very hard
Yeah, I mean they do have the rubber grip here on the bottom
But you'd have to wrap your USB cords up through the little notch right here
But I don't know why they just don't put the USB ports right here instead
Nobody uses these things and we have you know, why you know
if you know why they're putting these and if you use them actually in your car leave a comment below because I'm curious I
Never ever use those in my cars, but and this one has the phone charging pad right behind your armrest, right?
So let's pop this baby down. So that's your armrest there
You've got two cupholders and tell you this front cup holder is okay size, but this back cup holder
Is tiny it might hold a can of pop but I don't even know if it's gonna hold that alright
But it also has the ambient lighting that goes right right in the center, right?
And in the Newton the 2020 zl1 Camaro has the wireless charging pad, which is kind of cool here
You know, they set your charger for your phone on there and automatically charge
You don't have to have the USB ports like we were just talking about. That's pretty nice
I do kind of wish it was up front here somewhere
But there's not a lot of room so I don't know where they would have put it. That's true
And you know what Keith? I think we show them enough about the inside
Let's get to the front of this car to check out the motor
So but hey, if you're enjoying this video smash that thumbs up, we appreciate it. Let's check out the exterior right now
All righty, then. All right, honey, so in
1967 the first
Camaro came out. And that was awesome time. I would love to have my favorite cars actually a 69 Camaro
I'd love to have one and then in
2002
Camaro decided not to make them that to make anymore
I don't understand why they must not have been making too much money on it
but they stopped them in 2002 and then Bob that can
2010 they brought them back back in 2010 the Camaros back and it's been back around now all the way to 2020
They're just getting better and better
Yes, check out the front of this thing already. Nice. Oh, yeah. Well did this Camaro they call this go gray and it is hi
Check out the lower lip here and I'll get a cat in the camera just a second
So you get it close-up, but check out the lower lip that wrap it around the front
We had these nice Senate's turf through headlights. Yeah, it look very nice. But sinister headlights are awesome. They're LED
They are just so sleek looking the grille here is just awesome. It looks for so much airflow
I mean, we're gonna get a closer look in a little bit
We're gonna grab the camera and show you guys we get the Camaro emblem in here. It looks
Amazing this front of this Camaro. So aggressive. Yeah, it's crazy this 2020 zl1 Camaro
This one actually has the exposed weed carbon-fiber hood, which I'm excited to show you. So let me grab the car up
Yeah. Oh, yeah already key thing you were saying about the weave carbon fiber. This is an option
Doesn't come on all of the models, but they've got this carbon fiber hood right here. It's got the weave option
It's got the co one right here
If you see this right here all the air flowing heat that you get out of this pushes it right out the back there
Right now, but if you get the friend Loki, they will see what we're actually talking about when we're talking about getting air
Yeah, show us the hollowness. See this. Hollow
big air vents and we have this
650 horsepower
V8 motor needs a lot of air to cool it down
So the air just goes straight into here and we have the same thing on both sides
But as you see right here in the center, well, we have the Chevy emblem. This is hollow for more airflow
So, you know they were trying to get as much air flow as you could get and this sits point 2 liter v8
Yeah, that suckers nice. I love the the glass mirror finish through here
This is really sporty looking you've got the low profile there in the front. Let's check out the side of it
Oh, hey, we got the engine. Let's check out the engine. All right
Yeah, let's check out the hood and I tell you what. I don't know if you can hear it, but somebody's cleaning behind us
Hey, we're trying to talk as long as we can so look at this
supercharged
Lt4 v8 this baby's bad. Whoa this point two liter v8 with
650 horsepower
Yep, and 650 foot-pound of torque
Oh, this thing only gets 13 miles per gallon in the city and 21 miles in the highway
you have
650 horsepower you don't care about the guest whew, look at this ain't kind easy to get to
This is nice
You can see the vents here on the hood they come out of the fiberglass hood. They're just cools it down
Everything is functional air vents in this car. But you know, let's close this hood and let's jump right to the side
Let's do it. It's very beautiful. Hey, as soon as we get to the side, you notice these 20-inch rim
Gunmetal gray we have on these Dallas look at them. These are beautiful
These are the gunmetal gray aluminum alloy wheels. Look at the spokes right and right away
You see that a piston calipers. Yeah this they've got the Brembo brakes. I mean, these are just awesome. Let's look here
So yeah, I can get it. It has the zl1 logo, right?
Right there if you can see it and I'll tell you one thing
These calipers are so big but then you get to the back. They're even bigger
Yeah, telling you this are over a foot big
Calipers I mean these things are huge. Yeah. Let's check out the side
Yes, as we continue to the site we have this nice side skirt that comes here as you get to the rear
Biggest big yeah flares out there towards the back for for aerodynamics
I tell you what the aerodynamics everywhere they built it on this car. It's for function
It really helps the car out and they're right here
We have this big it looks like a shark fin on the side when you see this right here just bowls out
So it just goes like as Austan it is let's get while we're it right here. We're talking about the mirrors, right?
So the side mirrors are heated and there they're beautiful
Yep, and they also have that you know the sensor where somebody's right besides you unless you know
Which you will never have nobody besides you when you're driving
Us come around the back here are huge
Look at the width of those tires on the back. It's just fantastic
Tired it's got the gloss black finish here on the bottom that wraps around the rear of this sucker. This zl1 Camaro is beautiful
yeah, and you see these these are that their new rear taillight and
2020 Camaro and 2019 are the same and I love them. Yeah, look at it. They've got the
Silver led stripe that goes right along the middle here and then you continue
You've got your LED light brake LEDs you get the Camaro and blew up the Chevy emblem. Yep
Plaque right here. You've got your rear backup camera right there. That'll actually you know,
Turn on for your rear view mirror like we talked about we have this nice
Quarter for more down voice. Yeah
They just help it just helps with the speed and the handling look at that and right away
You take a rear look we get these nice dual. It's us comb
Tip pipes these things are awesome. Yeah. Those are nice. I gotta tell you thing. This thing is loud
You can switch the mode. So if you want to wake up your neighbors in the morning, and you don't like your neighbor
Will shirt make them not like you with this come here. And as you notice as we've been recording this here, this is the convertible
Let's check out L me while we're right here
let's check out the other color options because these are so we just happened to be right here by the black we get black but
Then you get this bright green right here whether you guys think about this bike white
I mean green and I'm like this green comment below we will be coming with more awesome videos
Pretty soon here stay tuned and keep watching car Floyd

If you’ve been considering the 2019 Ford
Mustang, then take a look at the 2019 Chevrolet
Camaro.
The battery on the Chevrolet Camaro is in
the trunk, which protects it from hot underhood
temperatures that can degrade battery life.
By keeping the Chevrolet Camaro battery 20
to 30 degrees cooler, its life is increased
by years.
The Ford Mustang’s battery is in the hot
engine compartment.
As tested in Motor Trend the Camaro SS trim
6.2 V8 engine is faster than the Mustang GT
5.0 V8 model.
The Chevrolet Camaro also has an engine control
system that can shut down half of the engines
cylinders which helps improve the camaro v6/v8
auto’s fuel efficiency.
The Chevrolet Camaro also has 3.5 gallons
more fuel capacity than the ford mustang Eco-boost’s
standard fuel tank, for longer range between
fill-ups.
When coming from 70 miles per hour to 0 miles
per hour, the Chevrolet Camaro stops at 141
feet while the ford mustang stops at 164 feet.
For better traction, the Chevrolet Camaro
has larger standard tires than the ford mustang.
The chevrolet Camaro’s standard tires provide
better handling because they have a lower

McCluskey Chevrolet:
If you’re in the market for the 2019 Dodge
Challenger.
Then you have to take a look at the 2019 Chevrolet
Camaro.
To lower fuel costs and make buying fuel easier
the Chevrolet Camaro uses regular unleaded
gasoline.
The Chevrolet Camaro has a standard cap-less
fueling system.
The fuel filler is automatically opened when
the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically
closed when its removed.
This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace
the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which
causes pollution.
Only an eight-speed automatic transmission
is available on the Dodge Challenger while
the 10 speed automatic transmission is available
on the Chevrolet Camaro.
When coming from 70 to 0 miles per hour, the
chevrolet camaro stops at 141 feet while the
Dodge Challenger stops at 176 feet.
The Chevrolet Camaro may be more efficient,
handle and accelerate better because it weighs
about 350 to 500 pounds less than the Dodge
Challenger.
When two different drivers share the Camaro,
the optional memory seats and mirrors make
it convenient for both.
Each setting activates different, customized
memories for the driver’s seat position
and outside mirror angle.
The Challenger doesn’t offer a memory system.
