1) 7” Touchscreen Display:
The 7” entertainment center features a full
color touchscreen display.
You have access to SiriusXM radio, Apple

2) Bluetooth Phone and Audio Connectivity:
The 2017 Spark comes standard with built in

Chevy Sonic Difference Between Hatchback and Sedan

Alright guys welcome to Bob Hook
Chevrolet on this bright and sunny day. I
have two awesome vehicles right in front
of me, and one is the Sonic LT and it's a
sedan and I also have the Sonic
hatchback in the RS model and I'm going
to talk about the sonic first, the sedan
version. And as you can see right up
front, we have the daytime running lamps
which are down there with the projection
headlights. Right up front what you're
going to see is that little camera right
in that glass. That's gonna be for Ford
collision. Now if we come right up here
that's where you're gonna see this
little camera right here.
So as you're as you're realizing this,
this vehicle right here is also chocked
full of some other good safety features
along with this sonic that's right over
here.
But the first thing that comes to mind,
not a safety feature just moreso a
convenience factor, let me show you
something on this other side. So
Chevrolet has a lot of vehicles in the
lineup that are equipped with a thing
called passive entry and what passive
entry does is all you have to do is keep
your key fob around you or in the
proximity of about a body length and
doing so, you press this little silver
button right here. This unlocks the
vehicle. Notice how easy it is to get in
the vehicle and then from there, to make
things even more easier, let me show you
this. Come over here. What you're gonna
notice is this has push-button start. The
sonics in the past did not have
push-button start, so we're really
excited to have that feature. So this
will help me turn on the vehicle. Now
also, the same way to turn on your
vehicle, is the same way to turn off the
vehicle; by pressing the stop button. Now
one good thing to note in doing so, to
start your vehicle you must apply the
brake and then, push this button that's
right next to the steering wheel. And
then from there, just looking at this car
in a glance, what you can see this has a
heated steering wheel, this has Ford
collision which is this button as I was
describing earlier on this camera. You
have standard cruise control. You have
Bluetooth capabilities. You have Lane
Keep assist which is a really really
cool feature. Basically to describe that,
as you're running down the highway what
you'll notice is you can take your hands
off the steering wheel and the car will
correct itself inside the lane. It's
something that along with all the other
convenience of the Sonic, that helps you
get down the road just a little bit
easier. Also in doing so, what I'm seeing
is this has heated seats. This has power
locks, traction control, it has an
emergency brake right here in case
you're on some hills. If you can see this
right here
Vwa- Lah and I'll apply the breakdown.
Also from the outside, let me show you
this. This vehicle has 15 inch rims.
Notice on the size of the vehicle that
it doesn't need really really big rims.
Now this kind of transitions me over to
talking about the 2019 Chevy Sonic
hatchback in the RS model. Now if y'all
follow me over here, notice the
difference in the design right off the
bat. This is what we call a hatchback,
versus the sedan, which was over.
Now some really easy differences right
off the bat that you're gonna see is 16
inch wheels versus the 15 inch wheels.
You still have standard equipped with
the passive entry right here. Now here's
something that I do want to show you.
Notice the difference in the interior?
Notice the badging right there for the
RS? Now a lot of the same features that I
was showing you in that other vehicle
you're going to see in this vehicle, but
the the big thing about the RS is only
an appearance thing. Now if you come
around to the front, what you're going to
notice again is the badging and you're
gonna see the black bow ties which look
really neat. This one also is equipped
with fog lights. You have the daytime
running lamps with the projection
headlights. Now if we run on over here,
what you're gonna notice is this has a
little bit different styling with the
tail, right here. Again, you have the Chevy
part black bowtie you have the RS emblem
right up here. Now notice how the head
the tail lights look very similar to
what you're seeing right there, but again
it's placed inside a hatchback. Something
that's also good to note right here is
this has these little sensors right here.
So notice that there's a backup camera
right below the Chevy emblem right down
there.
This helps with a learning driver as
they're putting the vehicle in reverse,
that you're getting too close to
something.
Now from here, something different that
you're gonna see to let me open this all
these doors. Alright,
so opening up this door, what you're
gonna see is a little bit of different
space configuration. Now give me a second
and let me pull the seat up so you can
see what it's like in the backseat.
Notice that in the RS you have the RS
floor mats, but we have this one equipped
with the rubber floor mats right now. Now
notice that there's no headrest right
here. That's because we have them in the
back space, but I want you to see the
configuration of what you get in the
back seat. Now there's a couple other
cool things on this that I do want to
show you. And first off, if you have
children this does have child locks and
those are right here. See that little
latch right there? if you take one of the
keys and then you turn this over, that
will lock that door so you can only open
it from the outside as opposed to being
able to open it from the inside. Now a
couple nice features that people really
desire, you have the heated seats and you
have again, cruise control for collision,
you have bluetooth, you have your lane
keep assist as I was talking about in
that other vehicle right there. You have
your vanity mirrors right here, check
them out.

Now let me show you this, this is the
same thing that I was doing in the other
Sonic that you put your foot on the
brake and start the car. Now
the real cool thing about this is the
space configuration inside the trunk. Let
me show you what that will look like.
That's okay. Now as you can see the
little space right there.
Now this vehicle starts at the MSRP just

2013 Chevrolet Spark Grand Rapids}
GM Korea recalling 66,000 units of Next Spark, Malibu models
ARIRANG NEWS:
GM Korea is recalling some 44-thousand units
of its new mini-car, the Next Spark, over
engine and software issues.
It'll also face penalties worth more than
half a billion won, or about 450-thousand
dollars.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure
and Transport, the Next Spark has a software
problem that can cause too much engine oil
to be injected into the engine, reducing its
power.
The recall affects units made between last
May and this January.
GM is also recalling about 22-thousand units
of its Malibu sedan, and that could come with
a slightly bigger fine.
The Malibu's running lights can fail to turn
on in the daytime under certain conditions
due to a software issue.
A free fix is now available at GM service
centers for the Malibu,... and repairs for
the Spark will begin next Monday.

Here's Why Chevys are Crap

I got a 06 Chevy HHR heard some GM vehicles
won't work right with aftermarket radios
yeah you know it's true it's insane for
some reason a lot of the vehicles GM
made it that the radio is part of the
anti-theft system part of the starting
system of the car and I have had people
but aftermarket radios and the car once
thought they told it to me and I
explained to them you know it's got the
stupid interface for the starting system
I've also seen ones that they didn't
even touch of it's a factory radio but
something broke inside it in the car
wouldn't start
I don't know what this GM engineers have
in their minds or snuck up their rear
ends but they're certainly not doing it
right when they design stuff like that
that's just plain stupidity and they've
done it, v6 rice burner says Scotty I heard
that if the ground straps to your engine is
broken your wheel bearings can burn up
you know that sounds crazy but it's true
you gotta have a good strap from your
negative terminal your battery to both
the body of the car and the engine you
don't then ground its gonna seat you all
kinds of sources and since the tires are
on the ground it can even go through the
wheel bearings make them run hotter make
them burn out, so what
you want to do is everyone so how did
you check your ground straps it's very simple
they'll corrode it the battery clean
them or if they get loose tighten them
up and then the other end they just bolt
on you can unbolt them see if they're
rusted or corroded make them all shinny again
and then put them back on again it's an
easy thing to do and it's often to
collect it on older cars people don't
even think about it, James Royal the
first and he says I recently replaced the
catalytic converter on my Chrysler and my
mechanic
tells me the catalytic converter is
tripping a code that it's bad what could be
wrong all right well the first thing is
it's a Chrysler
unfortunately what people need to
understand about catalytic converters is
they burn unburned hydrocarbons so you don't
pollute if
a catalytic converter goes bad unless
you hear it rattling and it's physically
broken into pieces of rattling around
inside there's something that made it go
bad the engine is burning oil the engine is
running rich the engines running lean
fuel injectors are dripping too much
fuel and that runs the catalytic
converter or somebody was dumb enough to
spray silicone spray cleaner or using
something like seafoam and pouring it
right in the gas tank and then it can
mess with the catalytic converters they
go bad cuz there's a reason it hides out
with yours you got a serious problem
master mechanic who said you need a
catalytic converter again why is this
going on they don't generally go bad on
their own unless I say they break and you
hear them rattling, there's a reason they
go bad
and if you just replace the cat you'll just
keep replacing and replacing, williams GMC
say if
antifreeze gets into my engine and i
catch it in time do i have to replace
all angeles if you catch up in time and
it did damage you thing you won't have
to but here's what you have to worry
about your combustion chambers the
piston goes up it's compressing air and
fuel spray so that compress is pretty
good if you got a whole bunch of coolant
that leaked inside there when it goes up
and it's tell us to go further if it's
pushing against coolant the valves are closed
it still can push because the engines
got to spin it will bend the piston rods
goodbye it'll run bad, so if you
find that it still runs good now and you
change the oil and filter you're not
getting any foamy or a water mix yeah
you could continue in a job you want to
pray that not too much got inside there,
I'm at 9903 says my 07 hybrid
camry with 187 thousand miles is not
getting as good gas mileage as it used
to okay it's a hybrid often that's the
big giant battery the really expensive
one as they get older they lose
percentage of the power and as they do
your gas mileage will go down I see that
all the time in the hybrids now it is a
hybrid it's not a full electric car so
you want to check the spark plugs on
your regular engine that's a gasoline
four-stroke engine they are filled
there's stuff like that but if they're
all ok and it runs perfectly fine odds
are your hybrid battery starting to wear
out and then when you find the price of
that hybrid battery you might just live
with a little bit worse gas mileage

pray that it's just the speed sensor
there's an electronic speed sensor on a transmission
measures how it spins around sends an
impulse to the dash and makes the
speedometer work now even though your
speedometer looks like the old-fashioned
kind they have a speedometer cable it
doesn't work that way the signal on a
transmission is digital and it goes to
the dash and the dash changes the digital
one
to a stepper motor and a motor turns it
so it's actually turning but it's not
directly with the cable you want to pray
it's just that because if it isn't it
could be something's broken in the
transmission and then you won't get a
signal from the sensor praise the sensor
simple you can unbolt it by one and put
on yourself too, very easy fix, Easy Rider
says Scotty why does the low oil light comes
on
in a 2007 Express but it's full on the
dipstick, knowing those things just change
the
oil pressure sending unit they don't
cost much both off full time that could
fix all your problems if that isn't the problem
then you basically want to go to a
mechanic like me we put our actual oil
pressure gauge on that's a physical and
it gives the actual pressure and if you
do have low oil pressure that can get
super expensive it can be a bad oil
pump it could be bad bearings worn in
the engine they'd have a bigger space so
oil takes up a bigger space that makes
the pressure go down you want to pray
it's just the oil pressure sending unit from
my experience on those it often is,

Six years ago, General Motors decided to efface
the name Daewoo from Europe a bankrupt company which it bought in 2001.
But Daewoo cars had a great success in Romania
and the story must have been continued somehow.
So, this is how the first Spark was born kind of a more styled
Daewoo Matiz which didn't stand out by anything except the low price it had.
Now the Spark saga has arrived at its
second act and the relation between this car
and the previous was nixed.
Aesthetically, Spark is the most daring and
aggressive car from it's class.
Though it's still called Matiz in some few markets,
the new Spark has nothing in common
with his ancestor.
It's a modern car, well-built and cheap.
The curved lines with sharpened edges are blending
very good with the body which has
a length of 3,64 m
The cockpit is surprisingly modern, starting with
the design to the illumination.
Each detail was made to suggest speed and
bitterness, same as the Beat concept from
which Spark has descended.
This car you see here is a Spark LT, which
stands for the most expensive and equipped model.
So the technology and the comfort are at the
highest level for what Chevrolet
can offer on this model.
Doubtless, the powerful point of this Spark
is the illumination.
At the first sight, in daylight, the dashboard
seems to be a sophisticated Chinese thing,
but this first bad impression disappears immediately
as you get in a tunnel.
The interior lights are turquoise with red,
reminding of Jaguar XF, XJ - cars with royal blood.
It's true... the Chevrolet's engineers had
chosen a higher brilliancy for the lights
and there is no dimmer.
This could generate tiredness when you drive
a lot, but let's face it...
This is not a car for long trips, it's a city car.
Chevrolet gave to the little Spark endowments
found in higher class cars: music controls
on the steering-wheel, electric powered and
heated mirrors, automatic air conditioning,
four electric powered windows, parking distance
control, a decent audio system and alloy wheels.
Above all of these is the interior space for
passengers which theoretically is for five
but it's recommended for four passengers.
There are a lot of storage compartments: five
in the center console and three in the dashboard
in addition to the door pockets which have
enough space to store 1.5 litre bottles, some
few mobile phones and some wallets.
The 1.2 litre gasoline engine is also impressive.
It develops 81 Metric Horsepower.
The engine is silent, almost undetectable
when you have the engine turned on
without being in a gear.
The 5-speed manual gearbox very good exploits
this engine but the reverse gear is like a lottery.
The suspension is doing a great job, especially
in the front.
It's very silent and makes you feel like having
sponge wheels.
All you can hear coming from the rear suspension
is the smooth way it deals shocks.
The silence inside the cockpit unsurprisingly
on lump stone and the plastics don't make a sound.
The body seems to have a very good rigidity,
but the stability is not a strong issue of
the Spark due to the soft suspension.
The choice of the engineers was very good
because Spark is not a racing car, but a city car.
It needs to take many bad urban roads and
to turn softly at low speeds.
At a price of about 10,000 euros for a car
like this, the Spark is a feared enemy for
the triplets Citroen C1, Peugeot 107, Toyota Aygo
and also for Hyundai i10.
Looking at the rivals, Chevrolet Spark doesn't
have a real minus.
The dashboard with cheap appearance and the
gearbox with inaccurate reverse are very small
disadvantages in comparison with all the qualities
mentioned before.
