1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 || For Sale

MotoeXotica Classic Cars:
Hey MotoeXotica and Z-28 fans!
Today we got a really special car.
It's an early built, '69 RS Camaro Z-28.
Now, this is an early car so,
it does not have an X in the code.
So, how do you sday that it's real?
Well, what we happen to have
is the original Protect-O-Plate.
It's a California built car and
it spent most of its life in Costa Mesa, California.
It's finished in Hugger Orange
very desirable color
with white stripes
What makes the RS different than your standard Z-28?
Was a lighting package for the most part.
There was no performance different
So, it gave you the hide away headlights
it gave you a different rear taillight and
the back up lights where down below
they weren't part of the light package.
So, if people tell you about RS/Z-28
There you go. There's your difference.
Very nice car.
Same owner for like the last 20 years
It is a all numbers matching
and I dare find another one
as original as this.
Mark's here to tell you little bit about it.
Let me tell you a little more information
kinda the data and all the numbers - crunching all the numbers
on this '69 Z-28
what makes it special - what makes it kind of rare
In today's market we see a lot of '69 Z-28s out there
sometimes there's more than actually produced
So, it kind of, especially the early Z-28s
such as this - they're kind of hard to verify that
they are absolute genuine
Number 1 is on the data tag from the factory
The early L.A., actually, the early Norwood cars
and all of L.A. cars
did not get the X codes.
So, on this data tag, basically at Norwood in '69
this production after... [trailing off]
December or January?
They started putting X Codes
to let you know this car left the factory
as a Z-28.
But this is an early car. This is an L.A. built car
where they did not do X codes in both of those situations.
So, the only real way that you can tell
that you have a real Z-28 is
First is- does it have the original DZ block
with a matching VIN number of your car?
Because Chevy only put the 302 DZ
only in the Z-28 at this time period.
So, if you got a motor that matches its VIN number on the car.
That tells you its a Z-28 because
only the Z-28s left with a 302.
The second and the best way
is to have an original...
very important here
This is, basically, the Protect-O-Plate
This tells me everything on how the car left the factory
and I mean everything
So, this car we gone all the way through it
The motor matches the VIN number.
It's the correct motor.
The transmission is also numbers matching
also with a correct build date of October of 1968.
This car was completed in November of 1968
so all its pieces were manufactured, basically, in September
and October
We go to the rear end it is also numbers matching
date code correct like it should be
And a lot of other details of this car
are still date code correct.
One of my favorite pieces is the Hurst shifter from the factory
is still date code correct
and matching to this car
You usually don't see that
This car left the factory as Hugger Orange
and it's still Hugger Orange
it's a very sought after color
it left the factory with white stripes
Today, this car really stands the way it left the factory
and the final thing that we finally
made sure that this car was real
it did leave the factory as a real Rally Sport package
which comes with the headlights
obviously the vacuum system for the headlights
the rear end's a little bit different,
but just wanted to talk of how rare
this car is for to be completely numbers matching
and not only that you can't argue
how genuine this car is
I can't tell you what an early '69 Z-28 that's a rare thing.
Just going to show you the back side real quick of this '69 Z-28
I love the first generation rear end
it's very menacing, very muscular back
On these cars you could have the rear end, basically,
in two ways; you have the RS as you see here
and just the standard Z-28 in '69.
But the RS got a little extra treatment
it got a totally different taillight
than the regular Z-28
and more importantly
they moved the reverse lights down to
down below.
A little trick is a lot of people in these first gen
Camaros the Z-28s
a lot of them after the fact
since the car was new, they added the RS package themself.
Even some dealers did.
So, there's some tricks to look
at these cars and see if it was
basically factory installed or was it later installed.
And one of the biggest little trick if you look down in here
you can't reall see with the view right here
but GM basically
wired these cars from the factory
in a special way it's kind of hard to duplicate
which this car has.
And another big important thing is
usually when people added these
they cut a hole with a sawzall
or some tool in their garage
and put this over here where you couldn't see the hole.
Well, the factory ones were stamped.
Stamped metal from the factory
for these reverse holes.
And I have indeed checked if this car is stamped
And a couple other little tricks up in front
I know for sure that this car is really a RS.
Alrighty! Well, I wanted to show you guys the inside real quick.
Even the seatbelts have date stamps from '68-
late '68. As an early '69 car.
On a Z-28
The early cars can kind of come a little bit different than the later cars.
When you start seeing a later '69 Norwood or L.A.
they always have a- usually- a center console
right here that's got the gauges
The early cars the console was an option
and this car left the factory without the center console.
Which also gives you no tach
The reason why they went to a center console
they put a lot of these gauges down here
You had a tach to see your RPM range
on the high revving 302
And if actually I remember the tach changed
a couple times throughout the '69 model year.
But this one is a no console, kind of bare bones Camaro.
I kind of like that in a Z-28
Previous owner did add a couple gauges to monitor it and
so he could drive it around and all that good stuff
it also has the wood accent in the sterring wheel - the RS package
again, this is an RS package Z-28
so it's got some of the RS bits, but
largely, this interior is really original and really good shape
The seats are correct material
I would say they've probably been redone
because they're pretty, pretty darn nice, but
I would say the carpet
pretty much door panels and all the little bits and pieces
are original of this '69 Z-28.
Well, if you're in the market right now
for a genuine, basically, a genuine Camaro Z-28 in an early '69
and you're out there searching for
the one that's got all the numbers matching
correct color, it's got it all going on
A lot of those cars out there that are for sale
appear to be, but they're definitely not
you gotta do your homework on these cars
But if you're looking for one and this is your color
definitely give us a call
I would love to talk to you about all the little details of it
and if you're really interested
come on down and check it all out yourself.
Thank you for watching MotoeXotica.
2017 Chevrolet Trax Review — Cars.com

Cars.com:
the Chevrolet Trax is updated for 2017
and it really needed it the 2015 version
finished dead last in cars comes
subcompact SUV comparison but for 2017
there is some newness that might help it
finish better in our next comparison
there are some hits on this one there
are also some misses the most notable
change is going to be on the outside
where the front end is significantly
restyled the 2015 and 2016 model looked
way outdated and that's because really
it was that model was on sale globally
way before we ever got it here in the US
so it came to us and it came to
dealerships already looking a few years
old because it was well the 2017 model
has a much cleaner more sophisticated
look that looks a lot like other
Chevrolet vehicles newer Chevrolet
vehicles and on this premier model we're
testing there's an LED strip on the
headlights that is a feature commonly
seen in more expensive vehicles and adds
a nice little touch to this subcompact
SUV what we most like inside the Trax is
its new multimedia system it has
standard apple carplay and android auto
and the biggest advantage to those two
features is navigation it uses your
phone's native navigation to display
directions right on this touchscreen
there's also multiple USB ports there
are two and then in the back of this
premier trim level you have a household
AC outlet another mobile-friendly
feature in the Trax is the 4G LTE
cellular connection and that is a
subscription-based service but they give
you a free trial at first that creates a
Wi-Fi hotspot in the car also on the
inside is this redesigned dashboard and
it's a little more upscale than the old
one on mid and upper trim levels you
have this new kind of - accent with some
contra
stitching and then also these chrome
white pieces around the climate controls
overall it adds just a touch more
upscale feeling to be inside of the
tracks where I think Chevrolet missed
the mark on the redesign is also on the
inside here there are fewer storage
areas compared with the old tracks so
you lose the top storage compartment
you lose the upper glovebox storage
compartment and then you also there are
these two little storage cubbies on the
side of the center console that are also
gone actually I don't mind those being
gone they were so small they didn't have
much of a use but still those others are
notable storage options that you don't
have anymore there is a storage
compartment underneath the front
passenger seat that's pretty sizable
although on ours it is clunky and hard
to open and close the new gauge cluster
is fine but it lacks the uniqueness and
style that the old one had and in a
vehicle that's already kind of just not
really that interesting it lost some of
its individuality with the previous
instrument cluster gage pot which I
thought was super cool it had a digital
speedometer and an analogue tachometer
that was styled after a motorcycle gauge
pod and it was just super cool in a car
that otherwise was super not very cool
so the new one has just the basic tech
emitter speedometer and the new gauge
cluster is just a little more boring in
a car that's already kind of boring the
2017 Trax has more available advanced
safety features but it's still not all
the way there
there's forward collision warning but
there's no automatic emergency braking
high-end luxury feature it's not
competitors have a forward collision
warning system with automatic emergency
braking that it's going to detect a
collision and in certain circumstances
brake for you the tracks however is just
gonna let you know that there's a
collision coming but it's not gonna
break for you
despite its misses the 2017 does hit on
a few good areas and it is a notable
improvement over the 2016 but this class
as a whole continues to grow and change
with new additions like the Ford
EcoSport the Subaru Crosstrek and the
Nissan Rogue Sport and how does this
compare to those well we'll find out as
we test the entire segment in 2018

Chevrolet Corvette "Cobra Killer" Grand Sport by Superformance

THE DRIVE:
Yeah...
Oh man.
This is a car that encourages you to
make really bad decisions. Really bad
decisions.
I'm Kyle Cheromcha, West Coast editor of The Drive
and it might look like I'm
surrounded by millions and millions of
dollars in priceless automotive history
right now, but every single car you see
in front of you including this 1963
Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is
actually a recreation, a continuation car
made new again in the 21st century by
Superformance.
Give me the story of Superformance.
Superformance started actually
30-plus years ago in South
Africa, the factory's in South Africa, and
the initial idea was... The owner of
Hi-tech, the factory in South Africa
wanted a Cobra and he looked around at what
was available in South Africa and it was
nothing that they know that the quality
was terrible so he hops in an aeroplane to
the US, had a look around and he wasn't
happy with what he saw there and he said
I gotta do it better, you know he's a
total perfectionist this guy, and
he bought what he thought was the best
that he could find where he brought it
back to South Africa and then reworked
everything you know he went from one
side the other side and then I've got to
admit that the first two performances
built would that good either they
weren't so thank goodness six thousand
vehicles plus minus later we say yeah
we've got approximately four and a half
thousand cobras built between
superformance cobras and Shelby Cobra's
and then of course we've done about 350
g2 bodies and Ford only built 80 to 100
rights back in the 60s there were those
we weigh about yeah and then Daytona's
that there were only six we built about
too close to 200 Daytona 100 yeah
and of course I knew a new sweetheart
covet grant sport it's a slow starter
we've just started selling them a few
years back and I think we over 30
already a 35 I believe but it's
something is pretty special you might be
able to tell it's a little loud in here
kind of hard to have a conversation
probably not the most efficient daily
driver but damn
I cannot imagine something that would be
more fun to tool around at this
here we go
I'm telling you that does not get old
that is a smile maker right there
you know what's amazing we're in this
you know it again it was built less than
two years ago because it's a
continuation car but everything about
this this whole interior it all screams
1963 and yet I have ice cold air
conditioning blowing at my face
I'm sitting in an adjustable seats I
have power windows and most of all I'm
not terrified about crashing a priceless
vintage muscle car having the freedom of
a replica car a continuation car to just
enjoy the drive man it's like you're
here back in 1963 and this is just any
old car that you're driving it really
it's really remarkable
they were only ever five of them done
originally and there's you know that
I've got the blueprints upstairs we had
to help a lot of help from a wonderful
guy
Robert ash Bhavesh from racing icons he
had two storage units full of
development parts for grand sports he's
restored I believe three out of the the
ridge tree of the original grand sports
out of the five and I know he's probably
touched the others also we were very
lucky that he had actually worked on car
number three that always raced with the
number two uh so it was actually car
number three and we managed to get all
the tooling it made that the plaster
cast molds that he had taken off that
car we got all that we got a body that
he had made the beat and body the same
as original Grand Sport we got that from
him then there was you know all the
tooling for the brakes for the side
vents for all the little details on how
the handle was put it because Corvettes
never had a handle like that that was
from a truck actually and that was
August Dunlop's idea of aerodynamics by
putting the handle butch in I see you
know the BRIT where the brake Vince went
for the cooling the coupe the dip cooler
that's on the back there's so much
detail we copied the original drawings
on how to a ghost on top altered the
original 63 Corvette suspension for the
grandpa we did all that now we've made
some safety changes better brakes and
what they had and of course we've gone
to a rat not a steering box
and if you come up to the car you'll see
that we've managed to get the gaps to be
really nice and also the door oh yes
there's no old 63 bit that's door closes
well that sounds a lot more solid you
know right down to your double seal and
then on the original grant sports that
of course had the leather straps we've
copied that too that's there now this
one is set up actually with a modern
lingo Faldo engine mm-hmm but it's got
something beautiful and it's what we
call men's jewelry when you look at it
it has the eight stack ah yes and yeah
men have here you go
men get excited when they see that you
know if we could we could wear that on
our finger or on our arms we were it's
true that's men's jewelry as pretty as
beautiful that's the real deal and as I
said you could see the power steering
air condition and was there any trouble
fitting it in the original engine bay
without modifying at all or was that the
larger hood from the Grand Sport made it
possible
yeah now the larger hood from a Grand
Sport and the two of the grand sports
the final years of racing raced with big
blocks in there so we can't fit the big
block in yet - you can go all the way to
502 and larger we'll go in in the car
yeah the sound is just amazing I mean
there's no radio in here your right foot
is the deejay
and
talented one of that
suspension is very its I wouldn't call
it soft because you do you can bounce a
little bit but it's also not very
connected the damping is not what it
would be in a modern car so you have to
watch out for that the steering
it'll hold you on a curve but the wheel
is a little a little sloppy so it feels
very much like an old American car in
that in that perfect imprecision that
cars of this era did so well the brakes
are so much better than anything you
find in a car that's really from this
era and that head and shoulders makes
the biggest difference
for our daily driving lack of an air bag
that may concern some folks but at least
you know that you have a much greater
chance of stopping in time compared to
an original 1963 Corvette
you know this whole experience driving a
1963
continuation Corvette Grand Sport on a
beautiful winding Southern California
well Canyon mini Canyon Road I can't
even summon the words describe what a
unique crazy cool feeling this is
I'll a dream come true it really is and
that's God that is that's the whole
point isn't it
a car
that makes you feel
like you're seven years old living out
your wildest dream is
pretty magical

hundred and seventy-five dollars a month
you can be too hot you commerce' you can
be driving on Mercedes it looks like
this okay one owner local trade for 375
dollars a month with this vehicle right
here and it's got so much so much
equipment I can't begin to even tell you
what it's got it's got so much stuff and
you're still going to include the gas
grill or TV and cleaner your TV not low
price even with our low pricing and
credit amnesty and I dare you to bring a
trade-in I'm going to get you out of the
trade even if you've got too many trades
already you're still going to get them
out of it again I'll take some more I'll
take some more all right bring up the
next one bring up the next one now Steve
remember here's the key to this
promotion they've got to be here
Thursday Friday Saturday and that's it
that's it that's all she wrote how do we
have here okay what we got here is we've
got a 2014 VW Passat with leather
James how many miles on this car 53,000
miles on this 2014 at for a hundred and
$59 a month now Steve I know you're the
deal maker but you sure I shouldn't be
like a 215 I mean 159 on a Passat
anybody a place else you go you're going
to pay seventeen sixteen eighteen
thousand dollars for this automobile
here you're going to pay 159 a month
that's what you're going to pay at the
end of the deal you're going to look at
the customer and what are you going to
say to that customer does do the deal
hey guys why don't we say it Gordon
Chevrolet here we have a 2011 caddie CTS
all-wheel drive dual panel sunroof
leather navigation from what I
understand every piece of factory
equipment that's offered to a Cadillac
this car when it was sold knew had it on
their diamond white pearl it's two
hundred and forty nine dollars a month
anybody can afford this car to come down
here by Saturday and make a $249 a month
payment that's a beauty right there that
all that one right there I Drive myself
all the bells and all the whistles for
sure all the bells all the whistles
everything credit situation is the
shouldn't scare them away trade
situations sudden scare them away
included with your purchase a TV or a
grill you get your pick lost supplies
left I can tell you this and the four
and a half five years that I've been at
this location we've sold over eight
thousand cars Wow there's we've got
eight thousand believers in this
marketplace that know that we make deals
and we get people financed and we get
you out of your trades all right mr.
deal maker give us a deal on an Infiniti
we've got a 2013 Infiniti g37 in silver
metallic this car I'm looking at it it's
absolutely beautiful this is an all
wheel drive automobile this thing's got
what we call knee deep and rubber okay
which means this got four brand new
tires on it oh yeah it doesn't have a
NIC or a chip anywhere around it in the
wrapper it's in the wrapper it's got
leather it's got sunroof it's got nav
it's got everything that money can buy
now I want to say this vehicle here
probably went somewhere in the 50
thousand dollar range when it was brand
new this vehicle right now can be
purchased for $299 bout this so that's
crazy
think about this you can drive a 2013
Infiniti for $299 a month with all these
features for the summer
it's the final weekend of the month 200
vehicles all of them will be specially
discounted for this event trade amnesty
credit amnesty gas grills TVs included
it is the biggest used-car promotion
Steve is ever put forward and here's why
for just joining us a record amount of
trades of come in due to a record amount
of new car business and the only way
Steve knows how to sell these cars is to
do watch Steve just do the deal
Philadelphia it's right here at Philly's
Chevy giant the deal makers here we look
forward to seeing you here and if you
are looking for a great deal on a
pre-owned automobiles stop shopping and
come on in to Philly Chevy giant where
Steve says just do the deal Philadelphia
hey guys what do we say Gordon Chevrolet
alright Steve how do you say the end of
the month to Gordon Chevrolet just do
the deal Philly and exactly that is what
is going on if you are just joining us
here at Philly's Chevy giant obviously
we've spent a lot of time today talking
about the unbelievable end of the month
deals that are going on on the pre-owned
side we've talked about that because of
the fantastic new car business so Steve
that leads us back inside and we're
going to begin to pull the curtain back
and let folks know why you've taken in
so many trades in the last couple of
months because of the type of deals that
you offer here at Philly's Chevy giant
now we are into the end of the month
and obviously earlier in the month you
brought a program to the table that has
been very very very effective with new
cars and that is 20% off while they last
Chevrolet Malibu is first of all Steve
how has that program work for you here
at Philly's Chevy giant
we started that program to begin in the
month we're obviously leading the
district whoa we've always been number
one in Philadelphia we're now leading
the district out of 70 something dealers
we're number one and the factory
representative they called me the other
day said Steve it's due to your 20% off
they're hearing it all over and then
they can't figure out how you're doing
it so when you're talking about a 20%
off savings that is pretty significant
Steve you're talking about a brand new
Chevrolet Malibu while they last 2017
20% off that's significant that is
significant it's anywhere from five six
thousand up to as much as eight thousand
dollars off Malibu's that's a lot of
money that's 20% off the MSRP of the car
that eats up a lot of negative equity
that helps banks make decisions that
they normally probably wouldn't make
because you're in an equity position
when you drive off this lot you've
already had your depreciation taken out
of the car 20% if you're upside-down in
your trade and you gravitate toward a
deal like 20% off how much better of an
opportunity with that kind of savings is
it to get that upside down trade
right-side up how much easier does that
deal make it if the bet if the
manufacturer is kicking in five six
thousand dollars I'm kicking in twenty
five hundred and discounts and whatever
I can do now you've got eighty five to
nine thousand dollars off a twenty six
thousand dollar automobile you're paying
eighteen nineteen thousand dollars for a
car that in a seventeen model when right
now the 16s are selling for that and
you're buying a seventeen for that so is
it safer when you're going to get the
bank's attention oh yeah no question
about it so trade amnesty credit amnesty
are obviously a lot more effective when
you have an offer like that for sure no
question and listen there's people
coming in that hey that their lease was
up and they're going into the new car
they don't have any negative equity and
they're be able to take all that
tremendous savings right off the top and
put it to the bottom line so is it safe
to assume that we could read between the
lines and and and understand that
between now and the close of business
Saturday you're still going to have 20%
off the Chevrolet Malibu while supplies
last year at Philly's Chevy giant is
that stole the table Steve absolute
the manufacturer has decided to end it
on LT Malibu's but I have decided to
continue it on on my LS Malibu's rules
bill do the 20% off through the close of
business Saturday through the close of
business on Saturday
hey guys what do we say Gordon Chevrolet
we are standing in front of a Chevrolet
Silverado now Steve a lot of folks don't
realize what a truck you guys are big
time into the truck business here at
Philly's Chevy giant we don't talk a lot
about it but today we're going to talk
about it you guys are really into the
truck business we're not into it as much
as we should be if I can say we've had
any weak area we sell more cars than
anybody this is the baby right here this
truck market that I've got to get into
because I'm going to tell you I Drive a
truck every now and then myself
especially in the winter I'm going to
taste them there's nothing more finer
than a silverado Chevy Silverado pickup
truck it's a number one resale truck in
the market if these this gets to be two
three four years old you'll pay three
four five thousand dollars more for a
Chevy pickup to trade one or buy one
then you would for a Ford or a a ram
these trucks hold their value JD Powers
number one number one pickup truck as
far as quality goes I'm just telling you
can't go wrong so I've decided now to
start doing in the truck market what
I've always done in the car market and
I'm going to give you some places on the
truck that's going to just knock your
socks off all right Steve so we've got a
Chevrolet Silverado
obviously if you want to create the
market you're going to put a deal where
your where your mouth is so Steve right
now between now and the close of
business Saturday if I am interested in
a Chevrolet Silverado what can you do
for me what price did I tell you and
before we get on here do you remember
with that price well I think you said
like $2.99 maybe 300 no no no you
kidding me you're not gonna sell any
trucks at that price so was it 279 no it
wasn't that price either there's a lot
lower in there
how about 259 it wasn't that either I
think I heard you say 259 did I say 259
but here's what I'm going to do lower
I'm going to do 214
2:49 I thought of it now Steve on a
truck like nine 259 people saying you
know you know you know at 2:49 they're
going to come down here this truck here
for $249 a month that'll give you a
double cab bottom on automobile that
will give you a four-wheel drive that
will give you a 1lt loaded a load it
I'll load it up truck for $249 a month
the Silverado at 249 a month lease that
exactly right so Steve do you really
want to be in the truck business what do
you say to that Steve just do the deal
I'm coming in the truck business 249 a
month 249 a month now we can't forget
one of your other popular sellers the
Chevrolet Equinox Chevrolet Equinox is a
big big seller here at Philly's Chevy
giant but the reason you've become a big
seller is because you've always put
forth fantastic deals for people you
really have no question you know the
equinox is what I've seen as being the
the up-and-comer for the sport utility
it's it's been absolutely phenomenal
I've also got some of the 2018 s it just
came in and the new body on that vehicle
is an absolute killer so what I'm going
to do on these 2017 s now I'm going to
start the sale off early instead of wait
until September or October I'm going to
tell you right now we're going to start
off on this new Equinix at 1:59 a month
1:59 a month 59 a month so we're talking
about a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox lease it
at 159 a month 59 a month and behind us
the Silverado at 249 a month lease them
exactly right so Steve and we still have
the 20% off the Chevrolet Malibu while
supplies like Reddit and Misty and we
have trade amnesty and we have 55 inch
TV sitting over there
we have grills barbecues that are
included that are included also and it's
a chick Pickard yeah pick your choice
choice your pick whatever you want take
it easy
think about it don't make it too quick
pick but make sure you get one before
you leave
hey guys what do we say Gordon Chevrolet
tell you don't Brian what's up what's up
Steve BC that's Brian Collins now now
here's what I want to find out about
Brian he comes on and he visits with us
Steve
and is it my imagination or is why we
see his name among the top salesmen
month in and month out here at Philly's
Chevy giant month out and one thing
about Brian he's always coming up with
new ideas on how to market himself in
the Philadelphia market to be the top
salesperson in the fifth largest city in
the country Philadelphia Pennsylvania so
Steve would this be one of the reasons
that you always talk about price and
people would this be one of the people
reasons maybe the people the 2:49 would
be the price or the 1:59 be the price or
the 20% off would be the price and
that's the people those prices mean
nothing unless you've got somebody like
Brian taking care of because somebody
will go spend more money if they had to
if they didn't get taken care of
properly or be serviced properly so you
got to have them now Brian I know you
care about the people you absolutely
positively when somebody comes here you
want to help them even if they've been
to this dealer or that dealer this
situation or that situation you really
care about the people so I want you to
take a minute and just talk to the folks
about how you can help them when they
come see you between now and the close
of business Saturday I mean the main
thing is like you already use the word
help I mean if you're out there right
now you need a car you want a car you
know I'm going to do my best to help you
find one I mean I always tell myself and
I tell customers I'm not so here to sell
cars as much as I'm here to help you buy
them and what that means is you come to
me you let me know what you want and I'm
going to work till I can to the very end
to get you that car that you want at the
price that you want so that's number one
and then everything else from there you
know just becomes effort and you're
really just to get involved and we make
something happen nobody nobody works the
desk when he comes to with a deal for
the customer
harder than Brian Collins he'll come
there and he'll come back and work to
work the desk they can't pay that cuz
you chart can use a little bit less can
you give more for the trade can you do
this can you do that he keeps working
and more
working until he gets the deal for his
customer in other words he does not like
to hear the word no no he don't want to
hear the word no he wants to make it as
easy as he can for his customer to buy
the car at the price that they put on
the table so so Brian I gotta ask you a
question remember when you first came to
work here at Philly's Chevy giant Gordon
Chevrolet remember the the handbook that
they have here and it says the first
thing you need to remember is Steve's
famous line if you want to work here do
you remember what that famous line is
just in case folks at home may have
forgotten it
well they didn't forget it just do the
deal in and out how did that no no you
gotta do it like Steve yes you gotta do
like Steve does it now listen here's how
Steve does it Steve go ahead just do the
deal Fillie
all right Brian you're up I've been
doing life Steve I just do the deal
silly hey guys why don't we say Gordon
Chevrolet so kid is it true that you
really care about the customers too
obviously now here's something that
folks may not know about you but you are
a mom you're really proud to be a mom
you love your daughter so obviously ah
salute the moms military and the
military you're a military person
absolutely yeah we're the weekend so
this is this is your time of the year
where you obviously we appreciate the
service you've done but you really care
about the people doing it I do I care
about them like they're my kids you know
I nurtured him I welcome to the phase I
have a lot of patience I will for you so
I have a lot of patience and obviously
it does yes she does with the
four-year-old you need to have a lot of
people she has a lot of patience with
the customers also who works with them
to get through and you people walk away
from her desk I've had more people
coming them out say listen I just want
to tell you that experience the kid that
we had with Kia and buying this on bill
was the best in the easiest we've ever
had working with Kia now Kia obviously
people that may come in that see you
that have been in the military they want
to deal with somebody what branch of the
service did you deal with no way you
were in the army yes for six years okay
so should somebody be afraid say Kia
they they have you know a dip in their
credit
maybe then realize they owe too much on
their trade should they be afraid to
come in and visit with you never what I
don't think that you guys should be
afraid to come in at all most of my
customers come in afraid and scared
because of their credit problems
history's they've been all over shopping
around and just couldn't get a deal done
when they come down they're a little
uneasy and you know start going into
credit details and everything like that
I just sit them down talk with them I
let them know they came to the right
place where we can get each and every
deal done most of my customers obviously
leave out here we leave out here best
friends we chat talk text we walk out
here hugging their kids leave our
balloons and toys if you guys got any
type of problems issues concerns this is
the place to go and me personally I love
dealing with customers the hardest
credit problems are the ones I love
dealing with the most because you walk
out here the most satisfied and the most
enjoy from the process Steve I think
she's digested the employee handbook
pretty well pretty well she really
drinks drinks on her bottom left and
drove her desk she reads it every day so
Sookie that first page in the employee
handbook has those magic words do you
happen to remember what they are Kia I
do just do the deal Philadelphia all
right well thank you Kia thank you so
much for joining us hey guys what do we
say Gordon Chevrolet so I got to ask you
real quick Kevin I know you really care
about the people I know you love that it
work at a place that has a lot of fun
this place has a lot of fun we always
have a good time with Gong and shouting
out and different things but bottom line
kevin is there a dealership that you've
ever worked at or have been a part of
that makes it easier for the customers
to get approved and works harder for
them then Philly's Chevy giant Gordon
Chevrolet has there ever been a
dealership that you've been a part of in
25 years absolutely not and what I like
about about this store here is a
customer says to me Kevin can you put me
in what can you put me in can you put me
in this can you put me in this and I say
to them I have never in 25 years put
somebody into a car what I do is I find
out what you need what you're looking
for what's going to help you your family
your friends and I try to find a means
for you to get exactly what it is you
want and there's a way to find that deal
and what I love working with Steve is
Steve tries to find the deal so when you
say just do the deal it's a real thing
and we try to do it all the time and his
office is still in the showroom for if
you still have a problem you still go to
him and say help help my customer here
everyday and you'll go take your
customer to him if you have a problem
most owners on a Saturday you can see
them on their way down the shore
beep today they beep to the store give
you a wave he's here on a Saturday on a
Saturday when I get here he's here so
Steve's not on the beach he won't find
him down the beach with his uh with a
sunscreen and okay he's here at the
dealership he's here helping my Beach
this is your B this is my beach right
here and this is the sand all the cars
all the sand and the lights of the Sun
and this is where I enjoy being for
obvious reasons you don't mean I love
selling cars with other people you love
the people I love helping the people out
I love just doing the deal all right
Kevin so on your way out those magic
words that you heard five or so years
ago when Steve first arrived in town
here's how let's hear it together come
on we are almost out of time but we've
got to mention these final things number
one Chevrolet Malibu is 2017
while they last what's the deal they're
20% off 2017 chevrolet equinox --is what
can you lease one for per month 159 and
the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado yes Gordon
Chevrolet is in the truck business
what's the deal there
249 and remember ladies and gentlemen
every single purchase includes a large
screen TV or a gas drill while supplies
last and remember if you're in the
market for a used car with over 200 to
choose from they must move them now and
right now they're going to discount them
and unheard of deals plus trade amnesty
plus credit amnesty it is going on all
this weekend where we salute our
military friends and family for this
Memorial Day weekend it's Gordon
Chevrolet on the Boulevard in busselton
in the great northeast that's Steve
Silverio I'm Greg Hennis and remember
when you arrive get ready to hear these
magic words as you walk out the door
give me the opportunity to make you an
owner of a new or used car and just do
the deal filling it's Gordon Chevrolet
on the Boulevard in busselton and as
Steve likes to say the great northeast
hey guys what do we say Gordon Chevrolet
STOLEN 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Bought On Copart Auto Auction

TheRustyCracker:
hi
hi
What's up guys rusty here welcome back to my channel if you guys haven't subscribed
2014 Chevrolet Camaro
this thing is pretty sick and
As you guys probably can guess it from my picture. It's been stolen
That's not a good thing for clean title cars
because usually
When I bought this from progressive when it gets stolen that has really bad history as in like solid record because it was stolen whatever
But yeah, this thing is actually pretty sick started it
Haven't really drove it yet, which that's actually my next step
Don't earier. It's really really dirty. I don't know how to explain it to you guys
But this thing looks like somebody stole it and didn't care about the car at all
Very weird and all this stuff was taken apart on the back. I don't know why tell you guys the truth
I actually kind of bag in here of some white stuff
Which is gone, obviously I reported to the new years authorities
Yeah, but the trunk man, everything was tipping apart. Like I said, I don't know why
Either they change the spare tire or something. I don't know the tires are kind of all bald
So I don't know what's going on there, but let's start it up see how it sounds
Starts up every time
The errors are kind of delayed problem. You start it like the arrows kind of go up like later than the car starts
I don't know. I think it's a Chevy thing not really sure what to make of it, but it's not bad
I mean it runs good the runs in drive great interior is dirty. So
Guess we'll clean it. We'll check out the engine bay because it's super clean. You'll see. Yeah, look how clean this thing is
Like I don't think nobody has ever cleaned this thing ever. So I guess I'll be the first and it's eighty six thousand miles
So actually no I'm not gonna clean it. Let's go take it for a test drive just to make sure everything's all coochie. I
Mean it's okay. It's driving
You'll see
This slight shake to it. I'm pretty sure it's up. All the tires are not really sure
Huh? It's alright, actually it's not bad. It might need some brake rotors or something like that slightly shaky
Next step is to change the oil because it's blacker than you know, some people's hearts
Yes, so the next customer has nice clean oil so, you know, I don't have to mention it needs an oil change
So whatever next step is to remove all these stickers and all of these
markings on the glass every Co Park car has this especially
Insurance cars they mark all over the windshield like they own it. I just get a razor blade
water and
Start scrubbing it down. You could use some wool pads
To scrape it all off but I just like using a razor blade. It's actually pretty simple
Huh takes me some time, but it's okay. I
Guess we will clean the engine bay
I like to squirt it with some
half soap
Some purple power which is some sort of degreaser and then squirt it on there then grab a cloth
It could be slightly damp. So it'll be easier to rub it all up on a plastics. It's not too hard
I mean it does take a little bit of time
If you want to do it very carefully, especially on newer cars with all these electronics, huh? It's fine
Just take a water hose after and just wash it all down
It'll be fine. Everybody trips about it. Then. Yeah, it probably probably is not a good idea to do this, but you know
Just don't sue me. I do this to my own cars because nothing ever happened and look how clean it is
Just some soapy water and this thing is brand spanking new
Next step is to remove this ding
It's the only major ding on a car which is located on the front passenger side fender
My buddy does paintless dent removal and he says he can do it within two hours
Man he did such a good job. He says he needs another hour on it, but I was like man, don't sweat it
It's fine. You know what I'm saying? So he did a really good job
Thank you for him and I'll leave his details in the description
So I have this Mustang detailed my buddy sent the pictures when he was washing the car
He's a professional inside and outside detailer
And he he was just shocked how the interior was like and I told him on my game and don't be surprised
You know what I'm saying? I brought you worse and he wasn't surprised. He just wanted to send me some of these pictures
Oh how the car looked before he cleaned it so I can show you guys how it looks now
Dang, this is such a new car compared to what it was man. This thing is beautiful. Ve a
Beautiful, I mean it's super shiny it's still slightly wet and I kind of got a carpets a little dirty, but you can tell
The difference here. I mean door gems are all clean
sparkly everything got a seat32 actually while driving back because I was in my dirty clothes but I mean
Other than that you guys can tell that it was detailed completely. I mean this thing is just really
Really clean and I actually made him put back the trunk area since everything was taken apart for some reason
My bad, dude, but he did clean it really. Well. I mean, you know
Detailing stuff I could detail the car myself, but you know
laziness hits me and I get all weird about it and don't feel like doing it cuz you know stuff and
I guess the next step should be
Tires, right? Yeah, the tires the tires should be the next step because these things are bald
So it's been a couple days now and
I am ready to install the new tires, which I do on a tire shop
I just didn't want to pay the high end for tires
I ordered them online for hundred bucks when some milestone tires or something like that, whatever. It's not bad 400 bucks
I'll do the work myself because I only trust myself
Let's get to it
And
Then I decided to install
Aftermarket LED headlight bulbs these halogen bulbs are super ugly
These LED bulbs are revised and bright and blue blue white
This is what they look like on the right. This is the stock one on the left
They are super bright super cheap. I think I got this set for like 30 bucks online. I mean
There's plenty of space inside the housing for this big little fan thing behind there. It's not bad
It looks really nice, especially in the dark looks really good. I would recommend it
And everything is done I am so happy this thing is done because I
Have so much money tied up into this you guys don't even know I will make a couple thousand dollars profit. That is true
I'm not doing this for free. I mean, I'm not really worried about it
I know it's gonna sell that these Camaros usually sell pretty well and especially how clean I made a look
It's gonna go real quick. Yeah, I'm gonna put up for sale
See what happens as a clean title eighty six thousand miles and look at that thing
Those LEDs are poppin makes it all worthwhile. Especially those LEDs is gonna sell the car
Appreciate it guys for watching if you have any questions, let me know
Subscribe message me on my facebook
I'll answer when best as I can. Alright

2015 Chevrolet Silverado | CarGurus Test Drive Review

CarGurus:
hi I'm Chris Wardlaw for CarGurus and
today we're going to talk about the pros
and cons of the 2015 Chevy Silverado
now this is a Full-sized pickup truck it
competes against the Ford F-150
the RAM 1500 and the Toyota Tundra let's
get right to it
and talk about my three favorite things
about the Silverado
now it's true that my LTZ Z71 test truck
is pricey and over fifty seven thousand
dollars but
when you spend that kind of money you're
getting a lot of equipment in return for
example
full leather interior in terms of the
seats heated and ventilated front seats
you got this fully functional my-link
infotainment system complete with
navigation
and a wifi hotspot you've got a Bose
premium audio system dual zone climate
control
sunroof and more now you're probably
wondering why have these gloves on
the reason is I wanna show you that
chevy's designs truck to be used
when you have gloves on all these buttons
and noms are big enough to be used when
you're wearing gloves
in fact even the touchscreen is
touch-sensitive
when you are wearing work gloves so you
push that nav
icon the navigation system comes up go
back to home push this
audio icon the audio system comes up so
that's really nice
very thoughtful of Chevrolet to do
that now the front seats are super
comfortable
I've got no problem and the great thing
is when you get the crew cab
there's plenty of room for your crew in
the back
you can fit three adults my size easily
in this backseat
loading a Silverado is a breeze too
because it's got these
handy corner steps and
my test truck has the easy lower and lift
tailgate what you see here's a spray in
bedliner that's a new option for 2015
now my test truck is equipped with the
biggest engine you can get in a
Silverado 1500
this is a 6.2 liter v8 it makes 420
horsepower and 460
pound-feet of torque now this year this
engine is paired with a new
eight-speed automatic transmission and
it ups fuel economy by one mile per
gallon each
in city and highway driving so according
to the EPA
this version of this truck should get
15 in the city
and 21 on highway now one reason they
can get 21 miles per gallon on the
highway is the
Active Fuel Management system that is
included
with all the Silverado's engines and
basically what that technology does is
it shuts half the cylinders down when
you're
not needing the extra power so if you're
steady-state cruising on the Interstate
or if you're coasting downhill or you're
coasting up to
a red light now during my test driving
I got 15.8 miles per gallon
out of the truck just short
of the EPA's 17 MPG rating in
combined driving
now another great thing about the
Silverado is its got class competitive
towing and hauling ratings
this is a four-wheel-drive crew cab with
the Short Box
it's got the 6.2 liter v8 engine and so
it's rated to tow
eleven thousand eight hundred pounds and
tackle a payload weighing up to two
thousand sixty pounds
now the Ford F 150 matches
this Silverado when it's equivalently
optioned
in terms of towing capacity the Ford will
haul 20 extra pounds and its bed
but otherwise the Silverado's numbers
beat the RAM 1500
and a Toyota Tundra so those are a few
of the things that I really like about
the Silverado
but find out what I'm not so crazy about
now one of the things I was thinking
about the whole time I was driving the
Silverado
was how great it would be to have a
diesel engine option
and then I realized that in most parts of the
country gas is really cheap
diesel engine options are really
expensive so forget that that's not a
con
right now what is the con is that
when you've got the z71 off-road
suspension
and all the things that go along with
the z71 package
this truck should be off road ready but
it's not
and I'm going to explain why you see this air
dam down here
it's designed to improve airflow and
aerodynamics for better fuel economy you
try to go off roading with that
installed
gonna chew it up in no time the second
problem is that my trucks got these
optional step rails
what these do is they serve to ruin
your break over angle completely
and I speak from experience on this
front because I've driven
a Silverado z71 off-road and I've gotten
the truck damn near high centered
because it had those rails otherwise the
truck is brilliant
when you take it panned really difficult
terrain just make sure to get rid of
that air damn
and don't get the step-rails
now even though the Silverado's got
a long hood and these thick windshield
pillars
it's fairly easy to see out at this
truck and these wide side mirrors are
part of the reason why
Chevy thoughtfully provides this convex
section
of the driver side mirror to make it
really easy to see your blind spot
but while this truck comes with forward
collision warning and lane departure
warning systems
you can't get a blind spot warning
system the matter how much money you
have to spend
that makes me a little bit crazy because
in my opinion
blind spot warning systems are one of the most
important safety innovations in the past
fifteen years Chevy needs to offer that
as an option
soon as possible
now I'm holding here basically a blown-up
version of my truck's window sticker
and you'll see right here that this truck was built in Mexico and that 52
percent of the parts content
came from Mexico now I think some truck
buyers might take issue with that
in fact according to several respected
made in America indices
the Silverado is actually the least
American full-size truck you can buy
aside from its corporate twin the GMC
Sierra
and the Nissan Titan so what's the
verdict when it comes to the Chevy
Silverado
should you go test drive one right away
if this truck a work in progress
or should you just cross it right off
your list well
I think that as long as you like the way
this truck looks and that the towing and
payload ratings meet your requirements
you're probably not going to regret
buying this truck be sure to check my

McCluskey Chevrolet:
If you’ve been considering the 2019 Ram
1500, then take a look at the 2019 Chevrolet
Silverado LD.
The Chevrolet Silverado LD has a rear seat
reminder, so drivers are reminded to look
in the back seat before exiting the vehicle
to ensure that a child has not been left in
the vehicle.
J.D. Power and Associates rated the Chevrolet
Silverado LD first among large light duty
pickups in their 2018 Initial Quality Study.
The Chevrolet Silverado LD’s 5.3L v8 produces
50 more horsepower and 114 pound-feet more
torque than the Ram 1500’s standard 3.6L
v6 hybrid model.
To lower fuel costs and make buying fuel easier,
The Chevrolet Silverado LD uses regular unleaded
gasoline, while the Ram 1500- v8 engine model
requires mid-grade for maximum efficiency.
Which can cost 5 to 40 cents more per gallon.
Come see why the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado
LD is worth the purchase over the Ram 1500.
Try it before you buy it with our free 48
hour test drive.
If you buy it we will cover it with our free
lifetime mechanical warranty.
