checking out the Chevy Aveo
Rs it's a performance the version of the
hatchback and even those
technically a show car which means it's
not on sale right now
it strongly hints at what the next
generation avails gonna look like
Chevrolet dialed up the exterior dress

5 hatchback it compared to what the
growing market with the Honda Fit Nissan
Versa and Toyota Yaris
last year the city and got redesigned
this here
it was the hatchback stern as part of
the redesign it got Chevy sort of

split girl with the large 7 logo in the
middle and it has a short overhangs as
part of the redesign is that this answer
from the front of the tire to the bumper
it gives it's sort of a stubby look
overall but I don't really mind that
hatchback
again this is Chevrolet's
entry-level cars that are looking for
wood trim or fancy leather interior
you can get that but not on this model
which is just one step up from the base
model
got a manual transmission a manual mir's
should not see that every day an overall
it's what you'd expect a lot of plastic
personally I don't think it's that bad
for an entry-level car but it does have
to be said that other cars such as the
Honda Fit
and the Nissan Versa our little nicer on
the inside than they have a 05
again you have a lot of headroom I which
is nice for small hatchback but one
thing and are set to drive this car for
a while as I could never get the sea
quite where I wanted it especially for
my legs I'm road all the way back and
it's still a little more been there that
I like
that mean generally makes a 106 for
sparse here are going to win any races
but it's pretty good for my legit
estimated to get 27 miles per gallon

HELLO PEOPLE FROM THE NEW GENERATION!
This time we´ll show you how to assemble a stereo in a Chevrolet Aveo
Being more specific a DIN stereo
and this harness which goes at the back
Let´s do it!
The first thing to do will be to peel this wire
let´s remove the tape it has around
be careful!
let´s remove as much as we can
let´s stop here
having done this
we´re going to look for the direct current wire
In this case the stereo we´ll install... Let me show you
Is this stereo
It´s double DIN
SOUNDSTREAM
This is the one we´ll install
and the color of the wires from the stereos that are AFTERMARKET are exactly alike
there won´t be problems
Let´s look for the direct current wire
What we´re going to do to make it easier will be to use a light tester
plug this hook to the ground in some part of the chassis
and look where the current is
In this case is the red and white wire
That will be the direct current wire
knowing that.... The white and red wire will be
we should connect it in with the yellow wire
Now, lets look for the switch current wire
To find it, we need to open the switch
And now check which of the wires has current
Here we have it. It´s a yellow wire
Let´s check it; close the switch
as you can see it went off
I´ll open the switch and we have that wire which is yellow
This one over here
As the switch current
Let´s plug it in with the red wire
We got it installed; and the black wire
which is over here
This black wire will be the groud
We´re going to plug it in with the other black wire from our harness
After we have plugged in those three wires
Our stereo will turn on
Now the wires that will be for the speakers
Will be the eight wires we have at the bottom from the harness; in the second part
We´re going to cut them all
Leave them a bit long
so we can plug them in
Nothing happens if you cut them all together since they are from the speakers and have no current
Let´s peel them all
Once you have peeled them
Let´s plug our stereo in
The wires for the speakers will be the gray ones
white, green and purple
The first speaker we´ll look for will be the back right speaker
and will belong to the purple wire
in this case I have it already on so it sends the signal
Let´s start to look for the pairs in this wires
This over here is a pair; let´s put them apart so you can see them
this will be a pair of speakers
this is another
and here are the others
Let´s look for them in this part to check which ones belong to the right back speaker
and plug them in
It seems to be this light blue wire
and dark blue
they belong to the right back speakers
let´s turn the volume down so we won´t have problems with the copy right
plug the wires in
we´ll take the neutral and live wires in the following way
In this case I put the negative
which is the light blue
let´s check in our harness
that the light blue is above
This means, in case we have the original speakers in our car
that all the wires that go on the right side
or in the upper side from our harness
will be negative
and this will be positive
If we plug them in the opposite direction; if you plugged this in as a negative
Then all of these will be negatives and the upper wires will be positives
These wires
belong to the right back speakers
let´s look now for the left back speaker
And this will belong to the green wire from our stereo
the left back speaker will be the brown and yellow wire which we have over here
Plug it in!
Let´s find the left front speaker
And it´ll belong to the white wires from our stereo
And now we have left the brown and gray wires
Plug them in with the white wires from our stereo
and the last couple of wires which will be light and dark green
will belong to the driver´s side speakers
and will go with the gray wires
Plug them in!
And in this way we´ll get our stereo connected
I´ll mention once again the wires´colors that belong to each other
The gray ones, light and dark green
the white ones with the brown and gray
the purple with the light and dark blue
And the green ones with the yellow and brown
once they are plugged in; we just need to put some tape or some clips
so we won´t have any further problems
In this case; as I was telling you in the beginning
I´m installing a double DIN stereo
This is the way it should be
In this case the wires of this stereo are a bit long
We need to place this harness backwards. I always suggest you to leave this harness at the back
so in case you may sell the car
You can place the original stereo back and remove the one you´ve installed
Let´s set everything in place
I´ll tell you in a moment how did I install the double DIN
which is like this
We have the front for these
normally the ones you install are of a single DIN
better said; they are the half of this stereo
They´re normal to said so
so place them with half of the box
It´ll be different, depending of the front you will get
But in our case we installed a double DIN stereo
Let´s set up everything
And in this simple way you´ll be able in install your stereo; which in our case was a double DIN one
But it will be exactly the same for a single DIN stero
