McLAREN M6B Can-Am 1968 | Présentation et démarrage

French Speed Connection:

Hi guys, welcome to the French Speed Connection
Welcome back to the FSC
Well today there's a little bit of change
A major change
This is our first video in French
A little bit of explanation to start with
Before getting to today's topic, and this nice McLaren behind me
At the start, French Speed Connection had a lot of customers, followers and subscribers
who did not speak French
So we had decided to shoot our video in English
When we started our first videos few weeks ago
We have had a lot of feedback on the fact we spoke English while our team was called French Speed Connection
And that we were French
So we've been asked to shoot videos in French
And that's what we do today with great pleasure
For our English friends there will be English Subtitles
you just have to click on the little button below
That was the introduction message
Now let's get into the subject we are here for and this stunning McLaren Can-Am
Of course today everybody knows McLaren
But before being a successful sportscars manufacturer
There was a man behind all that, Bruce McLaren
He was a New-Zealander Formula 1 driver
and was in 1959 the youngest F1 driver to ever won a Grand Prix
And this passion for racing evolved into something bigger few years later
And Bruce McLaren created his own F1 racing team and Sportscars racing team
with cars like this stunning M6B
A little bit of history for those who don't know the Can-Am championship and its fantastic cars
Like this McLaren M6B built in the mid-60's
At only 28 in 1964, Bruce McLaren was a F1 driver but also ran his own F1 team
And also launched his first Sporstcar
a car similar to this one, the McLaren M1
This car fitted with a Chevy V8 was supposed to beat the Lola in the Can-Am championship
Lola was the main competitor of McLaren at that time
The M1 is a great car but it is built around tubular chassis
While the new Lola T70 MK1, is built on an aluminum monocoque, lighter and more rigid.
and what was to happen, happened, and Lola outshined its competitors in the Can-Am championship
and of course it was not to Bruce McLaren's taste
End of 1966, a major upgrade of the M1 is launched, inspired by what had been done at Lola
and the new car is built around an aluminium monocoque, the McLaren M6
In 1967, two factory cars are built and painted in the typical orange color of the McLaren team
And these cars would immediately win and finaly beat the Lola
The next year, as the M6 had been so successful in 67, many private teams wanted to buy a M6 to compete in the Can-Am championship
McLaren thus decided to build a series of M6 for the privateers, the M6B
like this car
26 units would finally be built for the 68 season
The McLaren M6B is first of all an incredible shape
As a sportscar it is very low
mid-engine of course
a big Chevy V8 that we will detail later on
this is also superb curves and sheer beauty for a car that is designed for speed above all
Of course, that M6B is called a "small" Can-Am
It is true that the car is quite small
But this car has amazing specifications
580 HP, and only 745 Kg (1642 Lbs)
Think about it, the power to weight ratio is just unbelievable
Now in this bucket seat, one can dream of being Mark Donohue or Denny Hulme behind the wheel
Except that some major skills are required to master that kind of cars
Even if the chassis is great and the car handles great, with a very torque engine
We will come back on this later
This is nevertheless a beast of a car
For the story, these cars raced in the Can-Am championship in the States, but also in UK until 1966
And these cars have been banned from the UK championship, because during the last season
Not this M6B, but the Lola T70 that were the competitors to the McLaren cars
They beat 7 lap records out of 8 tracks they raced on
so that they were faster than the contemporary Formula one
It was just inconceivable that a car on the planet could be faster than a Formula 1
So that the championship was banned in UK
Fortunately, the Can-Am lived on in the USA with these fantastic machines, the McLaren and later the Porsche amongst others
With the doors opened and the hood off, it is much easier to see how the M6B chassis is built
a riveted aluminium monocoque chassis
What is cool in the M6B is that you are very well surrounded by two riveted aluminium boxes ...
... but filled with gas.
You never feel alone in the M6B !
Here is the heart of the beast and this famous Chevy V8
As you can see it is mid-rear mounted just behind the head of the driver
When you drive this car you just make one with the mechanical components
This engine is a classic small block 350ci Chevy V8
It is of course very well prepared in this McLaren
It is fitted with 4 big Weber carbs
It could also be fitted with a Kinsler injection system in period
This car also has a spare Kinsler injection setup so that it could be fitted back in if needed
This is one of the most noisy car on the planet
This is not really noise. That V8 does music to the hears
And we will make you listen to it later on
It is a race car so that the V8 is dry sumped. Here is the oil tank
It is matted to a classic Hewland gearbox, very common in the F1 and Sportscars world
This is funny of the engine oil coolers are mounted far back in the car
The exhaust : look at the diameter of these pipes
This a free exhaust, directly connected to the engine without any muffler
Look at this beautiful header
The tires might look monstrous. It is true that they are of unusual dimension
But there are much more extreme setups. With this car we are in 1968 with a customer car
McLaren and the other builders that race in the Can-Am will produce cars that are more and more extreme
Even if the chassis are typically similar to this one,
but with much larger bodywork, bigger aero package, and even fatter tires
not talking about the big block engines that are much more powerful
As we talk about power
few numbers to provide a context
this small block 5.7 Chevy V8 is good for 580 HP
And this car has been weighted at only 745 Kg (1642 Lbs)
That gives an idea of the power to weight ratio
That is to say that for 1500 Kg (3300 Lbs) car, more or less the weight of a Porsche 911 tubo
It would have to be powered by a 1200 HP engine !
We told you that this car is one of the loudest car in the world, and we did not lie
And we will prove it right now
This is called a small Can-Am, I can guarantee that is has nothing to do with small
We will shortly shoot a more complete review and take you with us on track with the car
Meanwhile, we hope you enjoyed this presentation of the McLaren M6B, and our first video in French
Don't forget to subscribe to the channel. And we hope to see you soon on the French Speed Connection

Hennessey Exorcist Camaro 1,000 hp and LOUD

Hennessey Exorcist Camaro 1,000 hp and LOUD

THE DRIVE:

We're all rolling with ideas and we're like
hey Adam the parts guy you'd be
pretty good size you about six - okay go
down to Men's Wearhouse get a really
nice black suit and I have my secretary
order up like a black Stig Top Gear type
helmet and I said okay get online and
find like a real priest shirt with a
white collar so when we went out to
Uvalde to the Continental Tire proving
grounds and we went to 17 and we did the
photo shoot
you know we've got him out there holding
across
when dodge came out with the 840 horse
powered demon it kind of seemed like it
might be the last word in 21st century
muscle cars no doubt Ford and GM started
working on bigger and badder muscle cars
of their own the very next day folks at
Hennessey though they didn't want to
wait especially not when they had a
platform as good as the Camaro zl1 to
base their new car off of so how do you
go about banishing a demon you get
yourself an exorcist
so this is the Exorcist Camaro he has
EEZ infamous Exorcist Camaro this is it
okay and this is the infamous one this
is probably probably the most famous one
that anybody would know this particular
car has been at 200 miles now or I think
over six times now including a top speed
of 217 and a quarter-mile nine five
seven 147 miles an hour
it looks fairly stuck it looks pretty
much like your average most part yeah I
mean we're not really one to go
completely crazy with body kits or you
know anything we do have the signature
stripe it obviously kind of sets it
apart as part of the package and and
that kind of thing and then we've
obviously added the force on wheels to
this particular package because they're
you know the best ones in the business
and for our application this is what
worked out best but other than that I
mean it for the most part in the outside
its is the old one which is an
aggressive car to start off with right
once you get under the hood though very
different story big numbers though you
blew past 999 correct you know we shoot
for the thousand horsepower mark which
is essentially where the Exorcist is so
a thousand horsepower at the motor Kendy
turn it slightly we can turn it 485 so
it depends the application but
essentially yeah it's they all sit right
within that that thousand horsepower
range that's what the ideas of the car
walk me through the magic here because
this looks like it could also be a
nuclear reactor
obviously there's there's a lot that
we've done to this upgraded whipple
supercharger that's bigger than the
factory one obviously and a lot more
durable but 2.7 liters yeah okay 2.7 and
we've got the you know the whole top end
of the motors been redone we got an
upgraded cam the heads drivetrain valves
everything's been completely custom
the headers exhaust free flow cats and
the main thing for this car is the
tuning so we have applications for both
at MC transmission automatic and if
there's if it's a manual so you can get
the car either way and we can get the
same amount of power out of both amount
of power but we do we do go a little bit
further with the automatic as we can we
can modify the detuning for the
automatic transmission to kind of
accommodate certain things like that
we've hand-picked everything built
everything to our specific spec to make
it you know if you can consider a
thousand horsepower reliable this car
would be is the shining example of that
because we if we beat this card within
an inch of its life
it's still here and it's running great
speaking of the transmission the rear
end and stuff like that the drive shaft
and transmission how much do you modify
that really honestly not much really
yeah not much in the manual transmission
will upgrade the clutch other than that
did ten speed transmission can hold with
the right programming you know it can
hold it properly right we still have all
the creature comforts I mean a/c still
works functional at cruise control still
works all of that kind of stuff again
because it has to be it has to be usable
sure we're not even though this
particular car is built for racing we're
not building a race car for a customer
we want this to be just a you know an
upgraded Street
I'd spent some time recently with the
Camaro SS which obviously has 455
horsepower so a little less than half of
what this car has as ridiculous a
statement as that sounds that car is
quick no one's ever gonna complain about
that car being slow here we go
23 miles an hour rolling so how long did
it take you guys to figure out exactly
what you had to do to this engine to get
it out to that level will increase its
incremental until they get to the point
where we feel like all of a sudden
things can't you know I mean we could
easily turn this up to 1,200 horsepower
we've done other Cadillacs and other
Camaros and that level extreme turbos
and things like that which then you're
getting into a lot more modifications of
the drivetrain right but for us it's it
just becomes you know making sure that
the user billion drivability and just
taking it one step at a time until we
get to a point where it's we've reached
a limit of safety gotcha ton of work
done under the hood here yeah what about
in terms of handling and things like
that I mean the suspension essentially
stock the Z the zl1 comes with the
magnetic ride suspension and a bunch of
other tweaks as far as the the underside
of the suspension goes yeah so we didn't
we don't mess with it a lot other than
custom alignment settings especially if
we do the upgraded forward line wheels
for the customer and things like that so
when we did the different runs that was
the only one thing that we really
changed was we made sure that the
alignment was proper for the for the top
speed runs which is a completely
different alignments heading from what
we have to in the quarter-mile runs as
well and apart from those little Lima
changes you know the suspension and the
body we're gonna get hold holds up even
at 217 for the most part we have we did
that we had one one run at you Ivaldi
that actually there was so much
downforce in the car and we were going
into the one the one final turn at
absolutely as fast as we could we
actually did rub away the inside of the
fender well on the one side of the car
because it because of the lien so that's
amazing
so it freaked him out a little bit cuz
it started to spill some smoke out and
production the tire rubbing against the
carpet on the inside of the
yeah I could see how that might be
somebody but you know once you went to
get it out of the way this rubbed out of
the way doesn't do it again and you've
done a lot of thousand horsepower
small-block based projects yeah so we
had a pretty good idea you know what it
was the main thing with this car was the
drivetrain and knowing the aerodynamics
and the suspension differences that this
car came you know the goal became okay
not just the horsepower but now we had
you know 200 miles an hour how fast can
we take it can we do a car that'll do
217 and we'll break you know break nines
in the quarter-mile and this is this is
kind of it what was the biggest hiccup
in that process sort of trying to get it
to the point where it is now the on this
car the automatic transmission really
yeah just making sure that we could we
could both Road race it at 2:17 and have
the gearing for that right so to get one
that does kind of all-around that's
that's really what kind of makes the
extras just package unique is to be able
to have that level of horsepower and
then still be able to run this and run
that with with minimal adjustments does
it how many of these is it a limited
number is it yeah with the Exorcist we
do a limited number I think we're the
goal was 25 I want to say let's say that
I love the test-drive okay walk in here
tomorrow and I say here is my new zeal
one how long does it take for me to have
this thing parked in my drive generally
six week okay how much would that cost
me about one on one of these turnkey to
drive home tomorrow the package runs in
about 54,000 okay so on top of the on
top of a fiber chain yeah
depending on how it yeah how you how you
want to buy it
this feels very familiar the steering
still has that very trademark Camaro
weight but also sensitivity it's very
direct it's very easy to point once you
get used to sort of managing the heft of
it but even have these everyday speeds
whether it's a very drivable very
manageable car it's very obvious that
this is not a stock chair even a ZL one
because the sounds that are just
bubbling out of this thing it's
basically volcanic it's just all of
these deep elemental grumbles roars and
fractals the suspension is more or less
unchanged and over the stock Camaro zl1
so which is to say this car is going to
be a very capable handler it's gotta be
more than able to take any of these
turns that you can throw out in quick
bursts it's a car that can lay down a
very you know respectable Nurburgring
time I'm curious to know how much faster
this one would do it given the extra 350
horsepower prepare for liftoff in three
two one
we have go
how long have you been here so we bought
the racetrack Glenn sir Motorsports Park
back in 2004 and we've built this
workshop in 2007 moved in 2008 so about
10 years about 40,000 square feet and
about 25 service bays as our business
has grown we're last week we built 15
cars and we're ramping up to build 20
plus 8 cars cars and trucks we probably
build more trucks and SUVs than we do
cars right now but we're ramping up to
build 20 per week so you know it's cool
the demand for you know faster cars
trucks and suv's just continues to grow
so it's nice to have the space to do it
The Exorcist how did that car come about
that that's a great story so I mean
Timken discus and the the marketing team
from Dodge we're just dominating the
automotive media with all their teasers
kind of I think that was like the winter
spring of last year so 17 as they led up
to the unveiling of the demon yeah the
New York Auto Show in April so you know
every week here comes a cool teaser
video here's the Nitto Tire here's the
chiller for the the inner cooling system
and I'm like man they're just sucking
all the oxygen out of the room or nobody
else nobody else and that muscle car
space can get any attention and get my
hat's off to them so I was literally
getting ready for work one day I get out
of the shower and I told my wife I said
the demon needs a rival to the demon
needs the Exorcist to have something to
compete against because there's nothing
there was really nothing that there was
nothing that compete against the demon
at that point time nobody knew how fast
it was gonna be I assumed before it came
out they can't be piping.this unless
it's a substance second-quarter ma far
yeah
which obviously was 109
Javad so I had the idea for the name of
the car but I didn't even know what scar
would shut so I can't I came to the shop
that later that day I said okay I got
this idea for a car I got a name for a
car I don't know who its rivals gonna be
but we need to pick which car that's
gonna be so the the new zeal one had
just been out for a little while
we had already successfully tuned the LT
for supercharged v8 engine in the zo6
Corvette and so I told my god I asked my
guys I'm like we give that a thousand or
spec oh yeah we need that thousand then
obviously we built it and began testing
it and we went a nine five the demon and
its own ride straight out of the factory
no modifications a solid nine second car
I think the demons badass but I mean we
built I think we're on our 23rd or 24th
Exorcist right now
ten speed automatic transmission they
said it was one of the serta for
limiting factors with handling this kind
of power you can feel how aggressive it
is which clearly is their reprogram
shifts I've never felt the Camaro that
shifted especially on the down shifts
with the aggression it's the violence
even of this unit so I know obviously
the specs at this point you know
thousand horsepower 883 pound-feet of
torque 217 mile an hour speed like you
said did nine five and a quarter right
forget the numbers for a second what do
you think makes it special scare the
crap out of ya you know more so than the
demon did you like the demon is super
impressive there's just something about
the exorcist where i mean from a roll
when you've got more power and less
weight i forget about the drag ship I'm
just talking about on your you know you
go into a runway event where you can go
side by side the that's where the
Exorcist this really kind of comes into
its own so on the street you know if you
don't have a drag radial tire on it it
can be a little be a little scary to
hook up but it's really it's really
super impressive from a roll from 70
miles an hour on where traction is not
an issue it's brutally fast I mean you
know dodge built three thousand demons
in three plus three hundred for Canada
so you know you go to a car show you're
gonna probably see a few demons the car
show you rolling an exorcist probably
not too likely you're gonna see another
action
1,000 horsepower in a muscle car like
this one is absolutely 100 percent
acceptable it is called for it is
beautiful it is exactly what the world
needs
it is the Camaro for the insane it is
one flew over the Camaros
you

The Original Sting Ray - /BIG MUSCLE

The Original Sting Ray - /BIG MUSCLE

THE DRIVE:

MIKE MUSTO: If you were to take
a poll and ask people
what beauty is, you'd probably
wind up with a host of
different answers.
Some people, for instance,
would look at beauty as
something that's only attractive
from a different
visual perspective.
For others, it comes by way of
how an object or time period
affects them on an
emotional level.
For us, it was when we opened
the garage at Brian Hobaugh's
house and saw this jaw-dropping
1965 Corvette
Stingray staring back at us.
My name is Mike Musto.
Each week, I travel the country
with the goal of
showcasing the best and baddest
muscle cars and hot
rods around.
Every car has a past, and
every owner a story.
Welcome to the world
of "Big Muscle."
[CAR ENGINES]
BRIAN HOBAUGH: I got into
cars because of my
dad, plain and simple.
As a little kid, I was growing
up, of course, playing with
Hot Wheels and with
cars and stuff.
But when I was six-years-old,
my dad took me out to the
local autocross in Pleasanton.
My dad said, that's cool.
I want to do that.
So one day he got the nerve to
go back there, and he got
hooked on autocross.
And six-years-old until now,
I've been out in the parking
lot, racing autocross.
The first car my dad
took me out was my
mom's 1970 Ford Camaro.
My mom, that was her
daily driver.
And it was the perfect autocross
car to start at, so
my dad just kind of
took the car over.
He got tired of that.
He wanted to go a
little faster.
So he sold that, and bought
a 1972 Camaro Z28.
He ran that for another
three or four years.
There was a new class that was
forming in the SCCA in the
early '80s, 1983.
And the Camaro was a good, fast
car, but in that class
were the Corvettes.
They were legal in that class.
So my dad wanted to be
ultra-competitive in that class.
So he sold the Camaro and bought
this '65 Corvette.
[ENGINE REVVING]
MIKE MUSTO: That sound
never, ever gets old.
With every car we drive, that
first start up is one of the
sweetest sounds that I
hear during my day.

So ladies and gentlemen, welcome
to one hell of a cool
automobile.
This is Brian Hobaugh's 1965
Corvette Stingray, and it is
simply a riot.
Look at the specs on this car.
It's got a 364 cubic inch small
block that pumps out 500
horsepower and 500 [INAUDIBLE]
feet of torque.
Stroker motor-- all low-end
[INAUDIBLE], it revs to 7,500,
and handles like
it's on a rail.
Got 315s all around--
315 30 18s in this car-- those
are steamroller-sized tires.
You can pitch it into
the corner.
And it's like any other
car, right?
When you first get in and you
start driving it, it takes a
few minutes for you to get used
to it because you have to
figure out exactly what
the car's capable of.
Now, for me behind this, we're
just really playing.
We're not doing anything
that's out of
the ordinary or crazy.
But I can tell because I've been
behind the wheel of so
many different cars that this
thing is set up to a point
that is just unbelievable.
The other cool part is this car
has been in Brian's family
for 30 years--
1983 his dad bought this car.
And the only reason he bought it
was to run it at autocross.
There has not been one year
since this car was actually
purchased in '65 that this
car hasn't been run on an
autocross and in some
kind of competition.
How many other cars can say
that that are this old?
Maybe a handful.
Maybe a handful.
Just the looks point of
view, he nailed it.
I mean, look at the fender
flares on this car--
they're monstrous.
But yet, it looks so right.
It was done so tastefully, and
in a manner that every other
'63, '64, '65 Corvette that
you're going to see, from now
on, you're going to look at and
go, ah, I kind of wish I
had those fender flares on it.
At least I know that's
what I'm going to do.

BRIAN HOBAUGH: Back when this
car was purchased by the
original owner, he purchased
it with the
sole purpose of autocross.
He did a little show with it,
but it was autocross.
So in 1965, when he picked it
up, he took it home, and he
cut the fenders off.
He immediately put the
big race tires on it.
And then he built the flares
in the front--
those were done in '65-'66, when
it was relatively new.
It had rear flares, but not this
big, because they didn't
have tires that big.
The third owner that had it,
Larry Park in the '70s, he
made the flares bigger in the
back, which is really close to
what you got.
I recently just had the car
painted at my shop.
And I slightly modified it
just to make it a little
cleaner on the edges.
Other than that, this car, the
way you see it, it's been like
this for well over 30 years.
The body hasn't changed.
So this car has been this
cool for that long.
MIKE MUSTO: Right now we're
doing, I think, 20.
So if we run up through the
gears and just roll, I mean,
it revs to 7,500.
Oh, man.
It's just--
this car is so good.

First off, the original owner
didn't see a need to improve
on what is perhaps one of the
coolest interiors of that era.
Brian's dad didn't see a
need to improve on it.
Brian did not see a need
to improve on it.
What that meant was that
we have stock gauges.
These aren't after-market--
these are stock '65 gauges.
And it really, really
lends to the car.
Everything works as it should.
Information is presented clear
as day because the gauges are
that big, and it just doesn't
take away from the car.
I mean, its interior is
a stock '65 bed--
that's what it is.
No bells and whistles because
the car doesn't need them.
Even underneath the car,
the suspension--
yes, it's been modified, but
it's fairly original.
Meaning spring purchase and
everything like that are
exactly at the same spots that
they were when the car came
off the line in '65.
Upper control arms, stock '65.
Now, you guys might notice right
now that I'm stuffed
into this racing seat, and I
have a five-point harness on.
And there's a reason for that.
The handling of this car is
such that it will toss you
around like you can't believe,
and that's not a criticism.
Not a criticism at all--
it sticks like glue.
I mean, you come into a corner,
throw it in, and
there's no lack of confidence.
You just kind of know where
the car is going to stick.
A lot of that is due to the
suspension tuning that Brian
has given it.
It's due to these
big 315 series
tires on 18-inch wheels.
It's unbelievable.
I mean, I've driven--
and you guys know this, and I
apologize if I say it again,
but I've driven a lot of cars.
And I'm always amazed, when we
drive these pro-touring cars,
of how good they, and how
good the owners have
gotten them to be.
And the fact that it can go out
and go toe-to-toe with a
Porsche, or a Ferrari,
or a Corvette--
that's a massive achievement.
A massive achievement.
Look at this.
This is [BLEEP]
outstanding.
Are you kidding me?
Oh my god.
This is so good.

BRIAN HOBAUGH: My daughter,
she's 15 right now.
And she gets her permit
actually next month.
And she's excited to get in
this car, and I'm excited.
My dad is, too.
We'll have three generations
driving this
car at the same time.
For many years, I thought
this car was the
ultimate street car.
And this year, it will be at the
OPTIMA Ultimate Streetcar
Invitational.
And I'm super excited about
getting out there and showing
what this old car can do.
People know this car
and love this car.
And the cool thing about this
car is, not only locally but
since we did travel, a lot
of people around the
country know this car.
And I get so many people say
that this is their favorite
autocross car.
And they've said it
for 20 years.

MIKE MUSTO: Do I wish
there was a
little more ground clearance?
Yeah, I do.
But it's not my car,
so what the hell?
It really doesn't matter.
And you've got to remember that
Brian autocrosses the
crap out of this thing.
And because of that, he knows
the ride height at which to
set this car at.
He knows how it should handle,
what it should feel like.
And what he needs to get
is those winning
results, and he does.
Brian's one of the guys that
shows up at the autocross and
everybody goes, ah, [BLEEP].
Because they know if he's there,
they're in trouble.

The fact that it looks like
this, drives like this, and
handles like this, obviously,
it's just an added bonus.
It's one of those cars that when
we show up and we see the
car in person, we realize just
how much we love our jobs.
We realize that, my god, there
are still people out there
that have the vision to take a
chance on a car and not build
it for somebody else.
But build it for themselves and
their family, and they use
it just to make stories.
If this car could talk, think
about the stories it would
give you about Brian's dad,
about Brian, about the future
stories that are going to be
presented to his daughter
because of it.
They're wonderful.
They're just simply wonderful.
And it's hard for me not to get
emotional, because these
will never be duplicated--
ever.

BRIAN HOBAUGH: What I love about
this car is the history
of the car, the thing, the bond
between my dad and I.
This car is going to
stay in the family.
I just can't see selling it.
My dad and I have talked about,
oh, it'd be cool to
have a new Corvette, because
they're so cool.
But they're not like this car.
This is never going to happen.
I won't let him sell it.
I'm not going to sell it.
Yeah, there's just too much in
life to get rid of something
that's such a part of you.
MIKE MUSTO: I want everybody
to pause for a moment and
really look at this car.
Think about its organic shape,
the flowing of lines, and the
powerful stance.
Understand that it was not
crafted at some high-end
Italian factory, but instead
built on an assembly line at
St. Louis, Missouri.
It featured fuel injection, a
fully independent suspension
system, and had the name Sting
Ray grafted onto the front
dash panel.
It was uniquely American.
And to this day, it is still one
of the most beautiful cars
to ever have emerged from the
General Motors design studios.
To Brian, we say thank you for
letting us drive this car.
And we look forward to checking
in with you again
soon to see what your daughter
thinks of it.
